I love that the screen doesn't have any stupid protruding 'communication bar' reverse notches like the new Thinkpads seems to have.. I'd always prefer a matte screen over a glossy one, though. And I feel these arrow keys could be a bit better.. combined with dedicated PgUp/PgDown keys like the Lenovo laptops have.

Great videos as always! I was contemplating this vs the galaxy book4 pro 360 but the lack of a touchscreen, no hdr, and terrible speakers pretty much kill this, especially with a base price tag of 2400! The only thing this has over the Samsung 360 is a discrete gpu option which I would have loved. Plus just from where aestheics standpoint, samsung design screams premium and luxury, whereas I can't say the same for the LG gram pro..

I was undecided between buying the new Huawei Matebook X pro and a Mac M3 Air... but after watching this video I have made my decision... this LG is the perfect balance...When working for long periods... 1 inch is an inch and determines eye strain at the end of the day... having a dedicated video card to be able to play occasionally It is a great advantage for those of us who only want to have fun occasionally and get out of the routine... the battery life seems adequate to me... but above all...the weight... the weight.... 1250 grams in a 16-inch laptop? It's a winning combination... the look of the Macbook is much better but my back hates the weight of the Macbook...which is smaller and 300 grams heavier... the other great advantage.... the software... the integration with a cell phone is simply spectacular... Just like the Huawei ecosystem... but without needing a phone of that same brand... I'm going to buy it... for me it's worth its price... Best regards.

The new Surface Laptop and Surface Pro will be business machines and they will be shown on Thursday. They will be called Surface Laptop Business and SP Business. They will use the Core Ultra chips and likely be expensive. The Surface Pro 10 will come in July with the Snapdragon X Elite and they will be aimed at consumers.

I find it a totally negative feature when a laptop can be opened with a finger. no wonder that the display is shaking, that's the logical consequence. I don't understand what should be positive at such a high price when the inferior hinges are already shaking on the first day. how should this be better with years of daily use. then rather stable high-quality hinges designed for long-term reliable use.

@cds5067 I'm not talking about the display having to break. I am concerned that unstable constructed hinges are praised because they can be opened with a finger. I personally have a different claim to the quality and feel of the handling.

Matte OLED would be a crime, so glossy IS always better.
That being said, the non-inset bezels make this look so cheap. Gonna be a pass for me.

If you configure the 15in Macbooc Air with 24Gb of RAM (you cannot get 32....) and 2tb of SSD it becomes much more expensive, on top the Gram has upgradeable SSDs and better benchmarks which you failed to point out (yes single core is slightly better for the Mac but beats it in multi-core). It a much much better laptop but I can see always how biased you are in favour of Apple

There are better comparisons than this. The MB Pro 16 M3 Pro is the actual rival to the 3050 LG Lgram 16. It has an excellent display with no burn-in, significantly higher brightness, and much fewer reflections, and it also has 120Hz. The MB Pro 16 is slightly more expensive and is not as thin and light as the Gram but it will be superior in nearly every metric over the LG Gram.

For me MacBook is light enough and I prefer the sturdiness of MacBook. Also the speaker looks like a deal breaker! And although its OLED, I don't think the picture quality of this device is quiet a bit better than MacBook because MacBook's picture quality is great, specially MacBook Pro's picture quality is amazing. I really don't think this OLED's picture quality is better than that.
