I was having a hard time lining up my edges and yours is the first video that I found that gives precise and accurate info on insuring a straight line up the work ! Thank you so much Glenda. All your tutorials are of the highest quality. Hope your husband is feeling better from the virus. Blessings to you and your entire family from NYC 💚🌻 Much Health and Healing to all 💚✨💚

Brilliant as always. I wish I had your tutorials many moons ago when I was younger as I was desperately trying to learn and teach myself knitting and crochet. I managed but it would have been so much easier! You’re a wonderful teacher, a walking encyclopaedia of stitches!😊👍🏻
I followed along and found it easy to work. I love your pink sample, it shows the diamond pattern nicely. Thank you for the tutorial, great directions.
Hello Glenda.... Thank you for this beautiful stitch. I have been wanting to do this one. You explain so well. Hope all is well with You and your family. Have a great day 🤗
Thankyou, brilliant tutorial, I am going to look further into your fees and subscribe, but at the moment i am going to carry on with this stitch as I am excited with the garment I have just started. xxx
So cute.....has become one of my favorite stitches thanks to you Glenda...I fell in love with your mosaic squares and made my son a blanket in Boston bruins colors ...so gorgeous...thank you Glenda...I have learned so much from your tutorials....😂❤️🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for your tutorials. You always explain the stitches completely. I feel as if there shouldn’t be a question as how to perform the stitch once you’ve explained it. Beautiful pattern. I think a hat would look nice in this stitch.
THIS VIDEO SHOWS A CORRECT WAY TO DO THIS STITCH (beginning 3rd row properly, NOT beginning with a dc and putting the post st in the proper st). Thank you for specifying the 2 chains not counting as a stitch, and for specifying where the sts go- it can be confusing with the Alpine stitch pattern, when moving on to the 3rd row, with a SC row as a 2nd row on top of a dc row, because the last sc appears to be connected to/on top of the ch2 "dc" due to how crochet sts sit on top of each other, then when starting the 3rd row, it can be confusing as to which dc stitch is the first, second, or third. I used a pattern that did not specify this, and what made it even more confusing, even though there were photos, the instructor said to make the first FPDC into the "first" dc, and the last sc of the 2nd row was not in line with either the 1st or 2nd dc because it looks "in between" and it was hard to see in the photos which dc she used, so I checked her video, and still, she did not specify, not in words and she did not show it in the video. So, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Also, this pattern can be confusing because when you're looking for the dc stitch to do your FPDC around or the one to skip, the top of the dc looks different than with other patterns because of the sc on top of it - usually, you put your hook into the RIGHT side of the top - BUT in this pattern, when you have a sc stitting on top of your dc's, it's backwards, so it makes you do a double take to make sure.
I'm making a blanket 36" wide and it's curing up so much, it's irritating. Is this normal? I absolutely love how the pattern looks, but aggravated with the thing curling ups so. Will it ever lay flat? The largest piece I saw on the video was still curling.
I feel with the Alpine stitch. It’s better to do a solid color where it can actually complement the stitch as the multicolored ones kind of wash it out.
Hi I love the pattern and your explanation is very clear. My question is is this is going to curl up or is going to flap, because I started and is curling up. Thank you for your help
Hi Glenda, this stitch is so pretty. I started a baby blanket but the edges are curling....will this ease up with a border and maybe blocking? Or is my tension too tight? Need to go up a hook size? Pull the front post loop higher? Any tips are appreciated. Love your tutorials...I've learned so much.
I finally got this stitch by watching your video. Thank you so so much ❤
Great narrative and instructions. Love this pattern❤

Thank you so much for explaining and perfecting this stitch. How do you increase and decrease this stitch?
Thank you glenda
Putting this pattern on the "do this later" list. 👍💖
😍😍💝👍 Thanks for everything

Hi Glenda! If you're wondering if your subs look up past stitches from your library: yes, we do!

Hi I love the pattern and your explanation is very clear. My question is is this is going to curl up or is going to flap, because I started and is curling up. Thank you for your help
What a beautiful stitch.. Thank you for the great instructions. Is there a way to Increase this stitch in a project?
What border (if any) would you put on this blanket?
Hi Glenda, this stitch is so pretty. I started a baby blanket but the edges are curling....will this ease up with a border and maybe blocking? Or is my tension too tight? Need to go up a hook size? Pull the front post loop higher? Any tips are appreciated. Love your tutorials...I've learned so much.
Nice too see💕
What type of stitch would you recommend using to make bathroom rugs
Stich of the week
Have you ever made a tartan blanket (plaid)?
Do you recommend a certain border that would look good? Hopefully you can do a tutorial.
Beautiful pattern especially with the white. It looks like it is dense, so would it be too thick and heavy for a blanket? Great video.
