Beautiful quad 450 35' Invincible.. Sea-Doo Switch guy did great keeping her trimmed up.. Key West guy coming in way to hot, and wish every Captain would wear their lanyard.. The guy hanging off the bow of the Maxum..Totally illegal. Lost a friend this way on another buddy's boat.. Carolina Skiff did well but I sold mine cause she was a back breaker. Mystery boat might be an older 17 or 19 Mako. That is one rough inlet. My butt will stay in the GOM.

(everyone's gonna say, "the current is too strong" Or, the bottom is sandy, or muddy or some shart." ) That looks like a Bruce anchor, which works well for most bottoms. Tell me I'm wrong.
@@Gabrielemarzio I used to deliver boats that a buyer would have traded in for a new one. I'd fly or drive to wherever the boat was, then sail it back to the dealer, I worked for. Sail boats mostly... usually a couple hundred miles away. I would not leave the dock if I didn't go through a visual physical checklist & inventory. I'd bring my own "Coast Guard Package"; the bare minimum: Horn, bell, flare kit, life jackets, whistle, EPIRB, handheld VHF radio and boat would have to have at least one ANCHOR. Usually there were 2 different styles, Danforth & Bruce. Absolute necessity if the engine sharts the bed & wind dies, you can usually drift to shallow enough water where the anchor will touch bottom & HOLD yourself, depending of course on water depth & length of anchor rode. Never had to use it, but it was the final defense against drifting endlessly to deeper water or ROCKS.
Looks like the captain forgot that the battery switches BEP 701-MD which Invincible uses can be engaged manually when the key switch doesn’t work. That’s my best guess.
Engine batteries on Invincibles are isolated from house and electronics so they’re basically crack batteries no consumption. So I find it hard all 4 batteries drained. Very likely what I mentioned the key which engages all battery switches did not work so the captain did not try to turn on manually. Trust me I’ve seen some crazy stuff.
As someone above mentioned most likely landyard kill switch issue and captain didn’t know how to resolve. Invincible boats use automatic and manual battery switches so if you turn the key and your battery switches don’t turn on they can be engaged manually. One per engine so it’s a quad (4 battery switches). Engine battery bank is also isolated from house and electronics so basically another battery switch for H/E) so there’s no battery drain to engine batteries. Once the engines start the alternators charge. My guess is either engines went into guardian mode or kill switch.
So, 4 engines, and all 4 wont start? Fuel issue be my first guess, water in fuel maybe? 2nd, battery issue if they won't turn over. right or wrong here? I've only ever had one engine.

How on Earth do 4 nearly new Mercury's all lose power? Unless it was some sort of electrical issue that took them all out simultaneously maybe? Very strange.

Bet he was steering with his “joystick” and the system failed. Twice now we have seen these multi million dollar heavy outboard boats fail with Mercury power

Battery problem is very difficult since you should have four different batteries. So yes probably the problem is the fuel
