The open tabs was too real for me. I have no less than 10 at one time and usually a lot more. I use them as reminders to research something later so I don’t forget 😂
I'm still using Pale Moon for almost anything other than TH-cam. With Session Manager - I have countless sessions from the past; some with 100\200 tabs. I'm trying to reduce it, I really do.

Yeah literally,like just 2 or 3 days ago I watched a video on youtube about some crazy cult rituals and from there I read a comment about the Burari deaths and then I went straight to Wikipedia and read the whole thing.
I tried explaining the whole thing to my mom but she lost interest quickly.
Sometimes I need my audience,people who share my fields of interest.
The wake up at 9am then go back to sleep for 2 hours is so accurate to me, and the tabs one is ridiculously on point, though I don't access the dark web and 'only' have computer programming, discord, random youtube, random psycology experiment article, biology and chemistry, reading material, online courses and random subreddits
no worries one day when you develop your traits you will start browsing dark web too

I'm an INFP and can relate to a lot of this, especially to the numerous amount of open tabs. 😂
But I guess the difference is probably, that all the themes of the open tabs on my laptop are "only" about psychology, philosophy, art, culture and other things, that focus on human nature and being. I rarely look up something about math or technical devices.

Yeah, as an infp i do the same. but it's things i'm learning, art, tutorials, nature, things i want to buy, philosophies, psychology, articles i'll read one day, recipes and so on

@@Normal_user_coniven yeah I'm INFJ and I relate to this video. Maybe not such a variety of tabs and all tabs made for the purpose of using the information gained for an actual task. Usually. So I'll research the heck out of something but because I'm trying to understand something for a purpose. Rather than for knowledge itself. Like I'll have an art project and will do loads of research, or I need to landscape my garden so there will be hundreds of tabs open about that one topic. Of course there are a few other things open, I like to understand things to know if there is realistic potential in it for me. Like crypto. But after a day or two of obsessing about it and satisfying my Ti that I understand it enough to decide whether or not I'll realistically pursue it, I'll either drop it or act on it.
@@Normal_user_coniven Using cognitive functions I typed myself as INFJ, though both this and the INFP video related to me the most. I know I'm INFJ rather than INFP because of Ni. e.g., I always have multiple browsers open, but most likely for one topic that I'm interested in at a time. I can dedicate a whole day learning/reading about a topic and take occasional breaks to listen to music or watch comedy. Also, weeks can pass before I step outside. I relate to the INFP in the sense that when I'm not browsing/reading, I'm daydreaming and telling myself that I need to be disciplined and take action, basically procrastination. I don't know which function causes INFP and INFJ to relate coz even with F, I'm more Fe (tends to be a people pleaser though I resent it) than Fi (which is unapologetically authentic to self.

I'm an Intp that has a kettle in the bathroom. Since the bathroom in near my room, I can make hot choco with it using the freebies I got from the mall on the corner of my room, the random jug of water I have in my room and the mug from last night. I can also heat up water since I don't have shower heater. That's only from experience.

It's ALL true! I once counted my open tabs, it was like 400 in total. Sometimes I open a different browser just because I know that on this particular browser there aren't already that many windows and tabs open.
One of the best browser extensions are those which can close tabs automatically based on some criteria like "not active for x amount of seconds". Game changer.
It’s a mixture between researching random topics on the internet that don’t matter and playing video games for me. I’m terrible with routines especially if I don’t schedule ahead.

The tabs, dude, are so accurate, I kind of afraid that if I close a tab I will lose all information that I got, I feel like I can access it later so I keep making new tabs every time random things pop up in my head that I want to dive deep about those new random things

Damn the tab thing… taking notes and screenshots 😫 I’m INTJ so the only exception for me is that I will eventually recategorize everything in different type of folders for further purpose (which I hope will happen one day lmao) because I really hate it when it looks all messy whenever I start my laptop in the morning.

Omg I thought only I do this! I am an INTJ as well, but my on of my fav updates on iPadOS is being able to automatically organize my folders. On my computer I will open a new browser window for each new area I am researching. Do you also do the thing where if you are researching something and say you don’t know what a concept is in one of the articles, you will open a tab…which forces you to now have a lot of tabs opened for this new subject 😂?
@@Rumplegirlskin Yes I also do it, hence I have so many tabs open 😩 how can you do deep researches with only one tab open anyway… so many concepts to double check and making sure you understand everything properly. If there is a drawing or illustration that can explain a concept, I will take a screenshot to use it in my GoodNotes app on iPad. I’m interested though, so with the new update your folders are automatically reorganized? On Chrome or Safari?
0:58, yes I'm for sure INTP, 338 tabs and counting on one computer, another 200 or so on another computer and so many folders with links of stuff i want to read about or learn that didn't at the time and had to be saved as html in multiple folders, and going through my hard drive with those old links gives me nostalgia and might spark my interest again

That's so relatable! I used to be just like that when I was younger - hundreds of different tabs open because I can't miss anything important, but at the end of the day I barely even finish a few of them. Now I do it a little differently. I just save all the tabs to bookmarks and all the videos to 'Watch later' playlist, and rarely ever watch it. Just so you know, my 'Watch later' playlist exceeds the limit of 5000 videos, because I created my own watch later playlist as well. How am I going to watch it all later?
Yeah. I also like to take a piece of paper, make a detailed plan of how to organize all these subjects i want to learn and fit all of them in 1 week in a way that study will be pretty consistent and then never touch this plan again.
Oh. and also orginize my tabs so right tabs are higher priority and left onces are for later (i love "pin" option, tabs don't take too much place then)

I mean, this is accurate for me, an INTP, apart from the fact that I have very organised tabs. It’s actually irritating for me to have more than like, five tabs open, max. But I’m very much on the internet, either reading an e-book, researching abt some fire or major accident that happened years ago to see how many people died and how it occurred, or binge-watching smth on Netflix. This is literally what I’m doing today.

i find Frank James's impersonation of Intps to miss the mark: He understands theoretically what sets us appart from the other type but, either through caricature or a misunderstanding/inability to emulate our innerworkings it often feels surface level and unrepresentative. dear kristin does it really damn well though and your videos feels like the most loving personal attack
edit : might be because FJ does it in a way to be understood and easily assimilated by other types and that''s why it feels overly simplified to me. Other Intps, what are your POV on his content?
I think FJ captures the phenomenon of awkwardness and social ineptitude/lack of awareness well, but I think that the depth of the skits is limited by short length. While he genuinely is capable of funny and insightful work, I do agree that he leans into stereotypes a little too hard for my liking.
I also agree about Dear Kristin's skits, though. Hers are insanely detailed (probably also helped by length, but also the particularities of her writing choices). I also enjoy the intricate lore.
Lili Aqvq's channel is damn good for the INTP and the ENTP as well.

I find FJ videos pretty entertaining but I agree that they're often superficial or outside perspective. I think he tends to show mostly immature or turbulent behaviors that don't really fit the experience or self awareness of more developed / INTP-As.
In my experience sometimes FJ nails it and other times not. He falls back on using math and science to illustrate INTP thinking, but I think that's because other types probably see those subjects as "brainy." The way I watch his videos is to say to myself what I would do in this situation, and then see how close he comes to that. 😊
