Grand Yema Loaf Cake | No Bake | Savor Easy

  • How To Make Grand Yema Loaf Cake with the rich and creamy no-drip yema frosting?
    Here's what you'll need:
    4 egg yolks
    1/3 cup granulated white sugar
    1/4 cup oil
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/3 cup water
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 and half tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    4 egg whites
    1/2 tsp vinegar or cream of tartar or lemon juice
    1/3 cup granulated white sugar
    Yema No-Drip Frosting:
    5 egg yolks
    1 can condensed milk (395grams)
    1/4cup evap milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 tbsp salted butter
    Topping:
    Grated cheese
    whipped cream (optional)
    Loaf pan size is 7x3 inches.
    Notes:
    1. This yema frosting is a no-drip frosting. Spreadable and easy to cover your cake with it. Not messy and runny.
    2. Constantly stir the yema frosting, never leave it unattended for it will burn fast.
    3. If you don't want to use whipped cream for topping, you can use grated cheese only.
    4. This recipe can be baked too at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Baking time may also vary depending on your oven specification.

      Ria Estanislao ilang minutes po pag steamer ang gamit hi heat po ba o low medium nagtry ako luto na un sa magkabilang dulo pero ung sa gitna hilaw pa din 30 minutes kung sinalang sa steamer na try nyo po ba ito i bake sa oven 180 degree..

      @@grengiarodel Sa oven po na ginagamit ko, nag-preheat ako ng 150 degrees Celsius for 10 - 15 minutes. Nilagyan ko po ng tubig yung tray sa loob ng oven at isinalang ko po yung sponge cake sa 150 degrees Celsius for 35 - 40 minutes. Nag-toothpick check po ako para masigurado kung luto na. Ganun po yung procedure na ginawa ko😃

    Thank you for the recipe. If I were to use a 9.25x5.25x 2.75 inch loaf pan. I would just double the amount of the ingredients and cooking time?

      Yes dear you can double this recipe, check the cake after 30 minutes then test it with a toothpick every 10 minutes until cooked through. :)

      Hey love, you don't have to. It's not necessary, you can sprinkle grated cheese on top for garnishing. :) Hope that helps :)

      You need to do the meringue part. It's the step that makes the bread fluffy so you really need to have a mixer.

    Why the most important part cut off? If it's no bake then was it steam? Bcos the cake is too firm for it not to be steam or bake.

    Since walang masyadong instructions about steaming, nag-fail yung first attempt ko sa cake. 😂 So sa mga magta-try, cover niyo po muna ng foil before steaming, or lagyan ng tela yung steamer bago takpan. Make sure din po na you steam in low heat lang. 25-30mins waiting time or until wala nang didikit sa toothpick. Good luck! 😊

    Hi po. I tried this ang sarap po. Pero nung nilagay ko na po sa ref tumigas po ang chiffon cake. Hindi po ba ito dapat i ref? And how many days po ito tatagal kung Wala sa ref?? Sana po ma notice nyo po itong question ko. Thanks in advance po ☺️
