We love road trips. The water view looks lovely. The lunch is something we would order. I would have the salad and Kenny would have the sandwich. The street art is was pretty cool.
Yes, so close! We have numerous borders near us and every time we go we have to do all the "US stuff" which includes a stop at Target and eating at the food places we don't have! 😂
What a beautiful walk by the water, sorry about the wasp though 🙈 hope you can go back to the tap house soon, we really like the setup, glad it wasn’t crowded :) looking forward to part 2!
loved you car shenanigans :) Loved the sculptures at Windsor ! oh my word, we literally cant stand wasps - they freak us out so much. Adam got stung a while back by like a whole family, so we would have also left lol. Your food at the twisted apron looked so delish! the beer garden looked amazing, so sad about the tap room being closed. Windsor looks so awesome, cant wait for part 2
Haha love grabbing mcdonalds on the road trips! Love how you are sewing in the car! Beautiful sceneries and sculptures all around! Good tip for the parking! The beer garden is super cute, love the food you both got 👌
Love watching your vlogs, great weather, love long drive in this weather....love your knitting skills....nice bridge, sculpture, great park. The history is well explained ❤️
Love road trips to local...not so local places. Love the animal sculptures. The Wasp freaked me out too....hahaha but nice video! I vote that you definitely go back when the crowds return!
👋👋👋 Just stopping by and showing some support 👍 Full watch for you friends ( even the ads 😉)...see you soon! 👋 Ashley, Nate and Blake from The Adventure Encounters
goshh i miss Canada! I've visited during February where there was snow and its really different to see it in a hotter weather even though you mentioned having a cold weather LOL cool though because I havent visited Windsor so its great to see this!
Oh yes, it's definitely much different in the winter and much colder. It was cool when we were there - considering it was still "summer". Thanks for watching!
Windsor is great! Love the voice over and all the info! Thanks a lot for sharing. We know where to go when we get there. Keep it up! Your new friends here: JackyAndTheWifey♡
Awesome tips in here guys! So sorry about the run in with the wasps haha that's the worst!! I used to have a perfume that bees liked and took me like a year to figure out why bees were always around me 🤣
Every time we go on road trips we live on a diet of McDonald’s and Taco Bell. 😂 The waterfront looks so pretty. And the sculptures are so cool. Too bad you had a little encounter with the wasp. Haha I would have ran out of there too!
"So close yet so far"😂 The road trip footage was so fun..were you crocheting? Maybe there was a reason you needed to leave the area and the wasp was trying to communicate that?! (Trying to give it a positive spin 😆) We encountered some bees/wasps on our recent trip..turns out they just wanted our beer! So sad you werent able to visit the brewery...guess that may mean another road trip? (But at least you were still able to try the beer)
Yes! I usually bring something to do in the car, this time I started crocheting a blanket. Maybe they were just directing us to the breweries 🤣 yes we will defibrillator go back to try the JP Wisers experience 😉
One of my best friends lives in London! I’ve heard Windsor is a really nice area. Sculpture parks are always interesting. There is one in DC that has some very unique ones. Detroit used to be a great city, but now safety is really an issue there. Wasps are the worst! Oh no! No breweries or distilleries were open! At least you found some beer! Lol!
If you come again, I recommend staying at a hotel downtown and doing a walk about. You won't starve because there is a plethora of restaurants to choose from. The Windsor Art Gallery, Aquatic Centre and the Maison Baby House Museum are all within walking distance of each other. The history of us is very interesting as we were the first French settlement outside of Quebec and Sandwich Town (on the west end going down Riverside) is where the American's invaded at the start of the war of 1812. The Capital Theatre might have a production you can catch from Opera to drag shows. St Clair Centre for the Arts also might have a production on or there is lots of local musicians at the bars when things are back to normal. You can walk anywhere and you'll find something. There is usually some festival going on starting in May running all summer & many are on the waterfront - especially around Ford fireworks day (it used to be called International Freedom Festival). Walking the water front on a sultry summer night is very romantic and I highly recommend Reaume Park on the east end going down Riverside and Olde Sandwich Towne for a walkabout. Both trips you'll need your car or local transit can get you there. If you can make it, get to Point Pelee National Park or Pelee Island and Amhurstburg's waterfront. It's so worth it! As for the wasps, they really won't hurt you, they are just very annoying. They come out every year around the beginning to end of September. They are pretty slow and dopey making them easy to swat but there are a lot of them. To keep them away from you it's a good idea not to eat outside - they'll swarm you.
You did a lot in that car journey!Crochet, nap, dancing must’ve been a long journey. Yeh wasps are vicious, bees are kind 🐝 shame the brewery was closed but the twisted apron looked pretty good! Love that salad and eating your husband’s fries I always try to order healthy then eat the bad stuff Craig orders😂 the good intentions count right?
It was such a long drive - and there's really nothing to see since it's all highway unfortunately. The wasps were so mean that day, but we found other things to do. Yes - good intentions always count in my opinion, we can't control what the husbands order 😂
Yeah the same here. We usually don't eat Mc Donalds. Only on trip when its an easy and fast meal. And of course only with coupons. Nice tour of Windsor. I am highly allergic to wasp sting. It would land me right into Hospital
No need to justify unhealthy road trip food... watching our videos you would think our diets are terrible but at home we eat much healthier! 😂 The waterfront sculptures and street art were pretty cool! I can't stand wasps.... most insects don't bother me but wasps send me running.
I hope you enjoyed part 1 of our Windsor adventure! Stay tuned for part 2 coming soon. Have you ever been to Windsor?
Awesome video my friend and congratulations on your channel becoming monetize 👍 it is very exciting isn't it 🏜😎👍 I love your new adds very nice 🏜😎😍👍

This looks so beautiful! Didn’t realize how close to the American border Windsor was! Thanks for sharing !
Yes it's definitely a lovely waterfront there.
Great video!
Thanks!!
The US and Canada are so close to each other and yet they feel like totally different worlds. I am from the US and I love Canada!. Safe travels!
Yes, so close! We have numerous borders near us and every time we go we have to do all the "US stuff" which includes a stop at Target and eating at the food places we don't have! 😂
Windsor looks lovely, it will be so good when we can travel and enjoy all the goodness these amazing establishments offer.
Yes I can't wait until we can travel internationally again - only local travels for us until then.
@@TheAverageTourist same here 😁
Wow.. didn't know USA was just over the bridge !! The sculpture park and the waterfront was lovely ❤️ !! Looking forward for the next part
Yes we have lots of cities nearby with close access to the US - but they are closed to non-essential travel now.
A nice walk in the park with great views! Lovely weather...can't wait for Part II!
Thanks so much, appreciate it!
What a beautiful walk by the water, sorry about the wasp though 🙈 hope you can go back to the tap house soon, we really like the setup, glad it wasn’t crowded :) looking forward to part 2!

Yeah its a fun road trip tradition for us. Oh yikes, I'm just afraid of wasps after being stung a long time ago. Thanks for watching 😊
Interesting place
Thanks!
Its nice that there is so much beautiful artwork throughout the city. #saltybeaverexplores
Yes - definitely a pretty spot.
A pity that the taproom was closed. Windsor USA is a bit different from Windsor UK 😆 but I love the sculpture park and the street art.
Ha yes the 2 Windsors are quite different from each other!
No need to justify unhealthy road trip food... watching our videos you would think our diets are terrible but at home we eat much healthier! 😂 The waterfront sculptures and street art were pretty cool! I can't stand wasps.... most insects don't bother me but wasps send me running.
I think most road trips have a few unhealthy options - but that's the fun of it! It was an interesting city - but those wasps were crazy!! 😂
