    Imagine being the writer: everyone around you gets cloned, and your boss just gives you piles upon piles of blank scripts for 12+ movies with the exact same name. Actually Illiterate is the most important person in this whole operation: $984 salary, 24 years of backbreaking constant scriptwriting for hundreds of cheap cashgrabs.

      Wtf? Once you hit a workforce of ~75 people, the bare minimum number of toilets required by federal regulation in many countries is 5. After 100 employees, there should be at least one toilet added for every 30 employees, so you should have had AT LEAST five and more would be recommended (as you were getting close to 6 being the bare minimum).
      Can't believe no one at your job lodged a complaint.

    • @veroxid
      @veroxid 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      @@bluesonicstreak7317 I was wondering the same thing. I found out about that law due to having to look it up in the other direction; the a place I used to work at had to remodel the men's bathroom.
      Did you know in the US if a building does not have a restroom open to the public and has less than 16 employees at the same time they only need 1 gender-neutral bathroom? Once one of those no longer applies you need to have segregated bathrooms.
      This regulation is why all those tiny gas stations and similar don't have customer bathrooms - if they only have 1 working bathroom they can't open it to the public.

    The year is 2033. The news has played the 473rd consecutive "Geriatric 27: Oh Thank Heaven" trailer instead of the ongoing nuclear war over advertising rights. You try to go to sleep, but the incessant knocking of the door to door movie promoters keeps you awake until 2:00 am, when the repurposed air raid sirens blast out the same teaser soundbites that you've heard thousands of times by now, just like they do every hour. You shove your head into your pillow and finally manage to rest. The instant your eyes close, you receive crystal clear dreams of a 90-year-old man pretending to be stabbed in a fire. You decide to preorder 19 tickets for release day and dozens more for the following week. There is no escape.

      That says a lot of society really, people living in a consumerism society, where there's nothing to do except consuming junks and unwatchable garbage. Until the point that despite so many better movies exists out there, our attention span is so short we're left to consume over-hyped junk in fear of FOMO cause other people are doing the same. Then the unwatchable junk buys out every other good industry to produce the same junk that we consume on a day to day basis. Ironically, despite good movies exist, human prefers to consume junks simply because it takes shorter amount of time for gratification to kick in, like draugs. If the gratification is lost, we just move on to the next movie like how we consume tiktok vids.

      @@MarcoGruber The USA has about 331 million people and big studios with massive marketing budgets. That’s why movies and other entertainment make a ton of money there - it’s mainly about having a huge audience and strong promotion.
      Switzerland, on the other hand, has only around 8 million people, so it's tougher to make big bucks. If you want to go international, you have to spend a lot on marketing, and it’s even more expensive if people aren’t familiar with the studio, actors, or culture. People usually stick with what they know. American culture is like a franchise that has spread worldwide, and they’ve been investing in propagating it for a long time. Josh really went full circle here. He worked for movies and now he gets to play a movie-making sim.

      He worked for movies?

    • @testchannel8151
      @testchannel8151 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@scottl.1568 He did, he was in the Script and Continuity department for almost all of the movies he worked on. Infamous examples of the movies he worked on are Deus Ex Machina (2010), Friends and Lovers (2010), and the Lamp (2010), which was infamously reviewed by Danny Gonzalez.

    4:08 The ironic, but not so sad thing is that I worked in a maintenance room for a hotel, and it looked pretty similar. It was kind of "U" shaped with an abnormal amount of fridges and leather couches all in rows.

    Dude I hope the content you make has made you a rich man. You deserve millions. I don’t give a crap about Hollywood and movies they are no good anymore, but I check your channel every day to make sure I didn’t miss a video the day you make one. You are truly entertaining. Especially for a guy who never shows his face. You’re awesome brother. Keep on keeping on.
