I love these videos, but I have a question. How do we know that the white rabbit is Mr. Rabbit's corrupted soul in the first place? If it is a corrupted soul, why doesn't it look like they usually do?
i’ve seen people say that mr. rabbit has more than 1 form of corrupted souls. which is odd because corrupted souls are usually silhouettes of the character + blinding white eyes. just sharing my thoughts

I think the last button might be connected to cube escape paradox, since there is a secret emding there in which the bat of rusty lake hotel appears in the elevador in paradox
Yes and no. Paradox is a simulation. It takes place when Dale is attached to the machine at the end of The Cave. That room isn’t real, but Dale’s physical body was technically in the white room, the basement. But the Paradox room itself isn’t.
Hi, I sure took my time to address this video. I feel a bit sorry for that. So here's what I'm thinking: 1) I still insist on the wrong sacrifice not being the reason for plagues. The Day of The Lake is prophesized to occur after one of them. Even David knows them well enough to have favorites so early down the line as if they experienced them the last time they tried to kill Jakob. 2) I'm also sure it wasn't Jakob and the well that made the elixir. It had to be Caroline who was in control when Jakob ended up in the purgatory. It's her formula, her memories and her plan to outsmart the cultists and place her beloved son in control. 3) Unfortunately, no. Mr. Owl is not a deva. Previously I'd say that in The Cave he's no different to Mr. Crow and that despite parallels with Dale, Jakob didn't have a mind expanding elevator journey, so he's meant to be lesser. But the devs said at Gamescom 2023 that we are yet to see devas. I'd attribute Owl's extra powers to his unique position as the ruler of the lake, not the other way around. A bit fetched but I think multiple devas existing simultaneously would be technically possible but only one of them would be the ruler if either. 4) Speaking of the elixir going out of control and enlightening everyone, I don't think it makes sense. It seems we agree that there were 2 separate rituals in Paradise. The 1stborn sacrifice to enlighten the cult and Caroline's elixir to enlighten Jakob. The former wouldn't enlighten Harvey since he didn't worship the lake. The latter wouldn't because the elixir consistently enlightens only 1 person even according to Caroline's book. Frankly speaking, after UB I'm not even sure that Harvey in Paradise isn't a time traveler from the future (But I wonder if we'll see him in 20k BC). 5) The devs said at Gamescom 2021 that Mr. Bat and Mr. Toad used to be humans before working for Owl so I guess he helped them and by the way could do so for Harvey as well. 6) I must commend you for pointing out Mr. Owl making a blood bath for a prophecy sake. Too many people simply miss that part. 7) The same goes to the -1th floor. Only few people made this connection. 8) I agree that bloody mary vs bloody water is a reference but it has to be the other way round since Paradise came out later. 9) Speaking whether there was a revenge in mind, I'm not sure. The guests sure are the Eilanders reborn. The problem is, most of them don't act like their counterparts at all. They either don't remember their past lives (probably due to a different way of enlightenment) or the Eilanders were poorly retconned into existence. 10) I'm not sure the spiral symbol is meant to represent the future per se. 1st and foremost it seems to be about getting a deeper knowledge both in Harvey's Box and The Staircase, Roots. You could fetch it to represent the future but other symbols on the cubes don't seem to mean anything that specific even if you exclude the cubes from Underground Blossom. 11) Again, good job deducing Rabbit's corruption an him stealing the pistol in Birthday. Many miss these parts and some even think Mr. Rabbit is future Dale. 12) And yes, the devs confirmed at Gamescom 2023 that Rabbit didn't join the breakout of 1894. Before that I was unsure. 13) Not sure you could call the other form of Mr. Bat animal. He preserves his size which is much bigger than a normal bat. I suppose he could alter only his hands. 14) Never noticed before but the music box DOES somewhat sound like the Gymnopédie. Good ear! 15) I personally think that Pheasant killed herself because she was narcissistic and lonely and thus depressed. A one actor theatre really feels like a Me!-Me!-Me!-thing to me. 16) Strongly disagree on Gerard being the least malicious. If anyone, it were Margaret and Elizabeth while Gerard was just an obnoxious jerk most of the time. 17) I don't really see a problem in Crow using some kind of magic to pass Harvey a knife through an opium trip. 18) Honestly, I don't even think there's any in-lore reason for this specific order of murders. There's no one explicitly instructing doing that and the consequences are rather meta: revealing the protagonist and granting a secret epilogue. 19) Speaking of memories being extracted from the guests, in the ending it doesn't necessarily seem the case. There, the cubes kinda ARE the souls. As if the link wasn't broken. 20) I'd say that the phase "memories are key to the future" was used differently in Hotel and Paradise. In Hotel it's literal, in Paradise it's not. 21) Maybe I'm nitpicking the footage but Laura's "The Lake belongs to me" doesn't seem to have anything to do with Dale's arc climax. For 1, based on the voice lines, her blossom seems to take place in 1981. For 2, she could mean she's The Lady of The Lake (confirmed by the devs at Gamescom 2021) which isn't confirmed to be the same thing as the ruler of the lake. And a little editing advice from a fellow youtuber: I occasionally hear words being edited out, it's quite apparent. Idk if you tried this but slightly crossfading the remaining tracks helps sometimes. At least you don't hear a click.

now that I pay special attention I totally see the similarities that cube escape and paradise has with Twin Peaks, such as the main characters in the game (Laura Vanderboom and Dale Vandermeer) share names with the main characters in the series (Laura Palmer and Dale Cooper) and the concept of souls being trapped in a place from where they could never leave. If I am right the creator confirmed to get inspiration from the series
