Looks top heavy, but I imagine that it can be transported by aircraft. Helicopters and planes should both be capable of placing it internally. And it most definitely has a large battery pack inside the floor board, so it's either bottom heavy or balanced well. That robotic arm/ drone looks way too complicated to last in the field, but the marines will sort that out ;) I'm still disappointed that none of these UGVs use the drivetrain and tires from new forklifts making it capable of strafing side to side.
Guessing its an EV and the battery pack is balancing it out. There's no exhaust ports or smoke visible. I doubt that its autonomous modes are truly that...particularly the driving mode and obstacle detection.
omnidirectional wheels (also known as mecanum wheels) only work well on very flat surfaces and are not suited for offroad (or even regular road) applications.
you are talking about mecanum wheels? if so believe me from personal experience it would be a nightmare to drive in the field field they are meant for flat clean surfaces not uneven terrain

And then there is the price tag, even if this vehicle costs the same than an manned equivalent, the fact that it is crewless saves lots of money. How much cost to train a crew of tankers? Just expend that money in procuring more of the UGV tanks that are born with the experience of previous ones.

We already force warmachines and even civilian equiptment to do go above its design parameters and still work, an UGV should be capable of returning with similar degree s of damage than a manned vehicle. by itself.

Need a satellite uplink - the current comms system can be blocked or has too short of a distance (~20km if i had to guess) 5. drone launch and receiver is interesting but massive waste of space and equipment; its unlikely this will be used without other ground infantry or aerial surveillance already available 6. need basic ERA package otherwise even low end modern ATGM will blast these things left and right

Given what this might be used for (urban recon), this would be really easy to disable using an IED or other basic trap. Heck, even a simple tank trench would kill this thing.
