Rarely, if ever, have I considered an album a classic before getting through my first listen. With 'Levels', by the time 'Let Me Show You' came on, I knew Mega had created a masterpiece. He had a God-given gift that he boldly shared with the world!
Remember the fact that when Levels dropped, SA was dominated by House music and Afro Pop. AKA dropped a Hip Hop album in the midst of it all. He went toe to toe with Zahara. an English speaking rapper appealing to the masses in SA. That's legendary.
Oh how we miss Kiernan Forbes 🥹 nobody did it like AKA man, very talented guy. AKA was so versatile and flexible, he embodied the whole S.A culture that's why every culture, gender, tribe loved his music. He was a different, a gift to the world ❤ we thankful for the time where his gift was shared with us. I really hope he's resting in peace.
