Sizwe was almost my Boss, hahaha. He tried poaching me twice in my life, once from Soweto Hotel and the second time from Kong Roast restaurant during his Capello days. I watched him build that place up from ground up, after he took it from Chef and the Fatman. That journey was inspiring. S/O
Sizwe has always been a focused guy from Kdala nje, Uziphethe kahle and he deserves all the love he is receiving . Big ups to him and he might just keep doing good!
Siz is definitely spot on about how social media is definitely changing society, and not for the better. I remember hearing someone saying that a lot of women are not happy in their relationships because they feel like it's just not enough, based off of what they see on social media.
True. Women want overseas vacations forgetting that local trips are ok too. Women aren’t finding contentment in the simplicity of life. Grabbing lunch at a “normal” restaurant. Talking to your partner. Chilling at home.
@innocentdlamini672 Yah think some ladies compete among their female friends sometimes. You find a group of ladies chilling and bragging to each about what they're nigga just did for her etc 😂. When a lady calls her blesser to come settle the bill for her and her squad, her friends worship her 😂
Guy’s Siz is the best thing that radio have ever had, this guy made me to understand hip hop on a different level. I still remember the Siz n Scoop theme song..Thank you Siz
what stood out to me the most is that sizwe and siyabonga used to do mock shows (for ‘siz ‘n’ scoop) and submit them for feedback and what we’d hear on air were the results of all that behind the scenes practice. wow. these are just some of the things we never hear about. hard work really does pay off.
Whoever decided to do those drawings to play out Cassper's C63 story killed it! I've heard that story a 100 times by now and that shit is still hilarious 😂😂
Sizwe is really my O.G, I always look forward to his interviews. Crazy thing he was the first person I followed on twitter because I joined twitter specifically to hear his thoughts and I feel like we share the same affinity for Drake and Em
His family is part of the black elites who sold out SA to whites and other foreign nationals. Going all the way back to his grandfather. He wasn't middle class, his grandad was already a millionaire in the 60s-80s. That's why he had access to Tito Mboweni another elite sellout
TKZee for the win. Shibobo was Nkalakatha before Nkalakatha, it had multiracial schools on lock in the late 90's. Skwatta was pioneering for sure but Teargas broke the damn door down. These are facts of life, no debate needed.
Awesome interview. As opposed to the TKZee comment, I believe Lady Smith Black Mambazo is the best group to come out of SA. TKZee might be, within Kwaito. Not in general.
Quality over quantity When L-Tido said I dont want to speak to people I dont want to speak to. I felt that. Those that haven not been invited yet are feeling it
56:10 ....Damn Tido looking like he about to cry, Don't worry bro... you in my TOP 5 dawg, You and Maggz had the best punchlines in the game. i can quote most of them
Sizwe is right about teargas I also feel they had crossover appeal myself as a colored person I found myself listening to them before I understood isiZulu or any other indigenous language and even their music videos told a story not just their verses
I never get tired of listening to Siz. The guy always drops wisdom and for us to love learning, he's a jem.
Same here bro, Dinangwe is smart yho
Gem, not Jem
@nduduzoncwane1087 gotcha.
No Mac G saying to Sizwe “you wasting your time in L-Tido’s podcast” 🤣🤣 hilarious 🤣
It seems to me Sizwe was an angel 😒
