I think they use red 70lb braided synthetic fishing line... that id wench a Epic power House I'd try the green 110lb!

maybe use fishing braided line from spiderwire. should be better at resisting abrasion from rubbing on rocks and stronger.

Yeah fishing line I've heard works best as it doesn't fray out like rope

We don't recommend using a metal bumper with our mounts. There will be some aluminum mounts available (if not already) that will be a better option.

Power Hobby makes some really good servos, I've had a couple of them for several years with no problems. Looks like they should have used steel winch line!

Thanks for the vid. I run 80lb SpiderWire fishing line on my 10th scale rigs. Probably go up to 100lb for my SCX6. The diameter looks a little thin for scale winch cable, but you should be able to fit at least 20 feet on that spool, maybe more. And it's tough stuff. Will probably cut through your fairlead before it breaks.

I take it 3d printed stuff has come along way since i had my cheapo 3d printer almost 2 years ago? Back then, ANY stress/flex, all ur work & days of waiting were broke in seconds on my capra. 🤷

Back in my capra days, with my homemade servo winch, i used 150lb BRAIDED spiderwire. It was the same diameter as 10lb fishing monofilament. Id have to guess on that beast, id go at least double the spiderwire! Super abrasive resistance! 👍

Ya the servo wow it has power!!! The hook nice size and strenth !! The line i found cheap if u help it up its perfect!! But just pulling without drivving nah!! For a scx 10 perfect!! For that beast need a real line!!! Nice job!!

Oof. That flimsy winch line is no good. On my TRX4 I have the RC4WD Warn 8274. I took off the nonsense line that came on it and put about 30 feet of 60lb braided fishing line.

Go to Bass Pro and get some serious fishing line. You will have strength without getting too thick.

Spider wire fishing line for a replacement of the line. Spool the line and dip the spool in hot matter for a 10 minutes, it will gain some memory to the spool so it doesn't unravel if it goes slack
