What melt me as a Pakistani was the meal he gave to the old poor man at the end, I used to do the same sometimes Pack my food and give the rest to those in need. Shows much of these two gentlemen, they are getting also all the love with everyone offering tea and whatever they could, humanity prevails.

Hi Max, mate great content nice to see my back home country watching from Bradford England big up PK Pakistan and also neighbour country Afghanistan AFG stay blessed lad.
Islamabad does get quite cold particularly in December and January. Night time temperatures can get to 0 (in centigrade), sometimes in a cold wave even -1 or -2. It doesn't snow in the city but it does sometimes on the hills surrounding the city. They are coming from Karachi which is by the sea and warmer so the temperature difference is even more exaggerated
Islamabad is much expensive as compare to other city's(Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Karachi) and specially sector F-7(where this restaurant is). But their quality is good. So for 15$ it is a perfect meal
It looks amazing. Reminds me of the Turkish food I grew up with and how welcoming they were to a bunch of hungry kids worn out with playing. We didn't see no difference and neither did they. Very fond memories.

Afghani food is amazing. We had for many, many years (20+) an Afghani restaurant in Madison, WI (I believe it unfortunately closed). The rice dish (they had a dish called Kabuli murgh) brought me right back there. Unfortunately, such cuisine is under represented here in the States. Great foodie videos. Keep them coming.
when i was in Islamabad for a year for job, that restaurant was my favorite place to go and when you was eating those Sheek Kababs that reminds me the same way i used to eat. Islamabad is such a cool place to be. I'm from Lahore and if you been in Lahore you know the difference

Best afghani kaabs in town, i am so hooked to these kababs a month aint complete unless you get a dozen of these with those dumplings (Mantoos).

Fun! Afghani food seems exactly what one would expect considering its location right between Iran and Pakistan, especially the great “loaded” pilafs/pulao/pollos with more use of spice rather than just herbs. I spent 7 months in Omaha, NE in the mid-80s, when there was still a sizeable Afghani population there and was fortunate to have sampled a nice selection of it. 😋

If a 100% afghan kebab and naan shop with complete afghan and north pakistan menu,is to open in the heart of houston ,it will vacuum much of the business being run in the name of steak and roast and BBQ.
The white thing you ate with Chai is called "Noqol" it's almond inside and coated on top with that white thing which gives it the sweet flavour
