Another excellent tutorial and beautiful result thank you, can I mention that on the finished piece I notice a grainy effect on the neck and face this happens to me and have ruined a few pieces trying to get rid of it as I dont like it, is this something I shouldnt worry about and what causes it please?

You didn't used solvent like you did in the tiger. How do you get that smooth look?
Phil-FR Art nope, no solvent for this one, just lots of layers of pencil and blending every couple of layers with the white pencil 😄

I use a Swordfish Ikon sharpener :)

Rosie Sabat I normally get my reference photos of pintrest I always find beautiful photos there if your drawing an animal directly from the owner of the pet ask for permission xx I believe she uses a mix of Faber castle Pitt pencils and something else

I don’t have good pencils, I have carandache pencils and I don’t think they work for colour drawings😔
Me: *Does this exactly*
My pencils: Haha no I smudge now
*Ends up with a smudged dumb looking horse*
My cat: *Stomps with wet paws on drawing*
Me: *Gets mad*
Me: *Tries again*
And repeat
oml, you know when people draw the outline without showing a tutorial actually gets to me and which doesn’t help me. so i don’t know how to do it.......
There’s other tutorials on my channel showing method for getting an outline, just take a look 👌
