@@sevenoaksOOhave you got the 707 Desiro City? They have been roaming the lines since 2023 They look just like the 700 Also i have questions Did you make this on your own or buy the trains and set up? Where do the trains go when the leave the station? How much trains do you have?
Electrostar and the Class 700 looks stunning, 1st time I have seen the CMAC models running. Love your layout as you are the only channel I have found on TH-cam that runs modern 3rd rail EMU's
Thanks very much! Yes there are relatively few people modelling the 3rd rail modern image scene, so it's something a bit different! Appreciate the kind comments :)
A convincing representation of Sevenoaks. I feel the station could do with a few passengers. You might invest in an automatic station stop. That intermodal train seemed to go on forever! You certainly have added a lot of containers to your collection! Thanks for uploading.
Thank you. The station is a work in progress - I tend not to place many passengers when work is still in progress for obvious reasons. It's a DCC layout so automatic station stopping is a bit more involved, but it's something I've looked into.
It's the first time I have seen this channel, and although I'm only 12, I am really interested in trains and this is just AMAZING!!! When I can I would like to be a driver on the WCML and that would be a dream come true.
Thanks mate, appreciate the kind comment! Stick to your goal if that's what you want to do, you'll get there! I'm not a train driver myself but I have family who drive on the underground and they love it! It looks like a great and very rewarding career 👍
Very nice! I have this model too. What colour paints did you use for the doors & the lightish grey body sides please? I cannot find the appropriate colours!
Thanks! The doors are a Halfords colour, Bermuda Blue, but personally I don't think it's an exact match - could be slightly more turquoise to my eye but hey ho. The grey is just a custom mixed colour, adding white until it looks right and then airbrushed.
Thank you very much. Some of them are modified from existing RTR models, others are built from 3d printed parts and motorised and modified by me with additional detailing. There is a lot of work involved but it's worth it! :)
Thanks Kev - the 73 is actually a Hornby model, with some additional detailing added. I love them as they're usually quite cheap to buy and run very well - with a bit of detailing and weathering I think they scrub up well :) Yes the Class 700 is built from bodyshells and underframes by CMAC model railways, using a drivetrain and motor bogies from a Bachmann Turbostar.
It's built from a CMAC models kit which includes 3D printed bodyshells, chassis and bogies. I then added my own 3d printed interior parts, glazing and lighting. The motor coach has a custom chassis using motor and drivetrain from a Bachmann Turbostar. You can find out more about the build process on my instagram at sevenoaks_oo - hope that helps.
No one makes an RTR model of the 700 - this one is built from a kit of 3d printed parts from CMAC model rail, which then needed finishing, sanding, painting, glazing and motorising. I've also added lighting and interiors to them. If you're interested in the process there's a lot more detail shown on my instagram at @sevenoaks_oo.
This is my first time seeing this channel. All of the trains look really good, if only the 700 had 8 carriages. The stations looks really accurate . Super impressed with this
Thanks! It's somewhat limited by the station length but could possibly stretch to 6 coaches at some point in the future. Appreciate the kind comment! :)

That 700 is ridiculously good. I’m seriously jealous!
Thank you very much!

Your railway is so brilliantly done, I have no words to describe it, it is that good. Love your class 700 model 👌🏻👍

Even got platform CIS! Amazing layout, that 700 is brilliant!
Really appreciate the kind comment, thanks! :)

Outstanding work :) That 700 is incredible!
Every time I watch this I feel like iam in Sevenoaks. You really have captured it very very well. 😊
That's really kind of you, thank you very much!
This is honestly one of the best model railways I have ever seen !
Ah thank you very much! Comments like this really make it worthwhile, it's great to know people are enjoying the videos :)
Very nice.
Good to see a CMAC kit built up as I like the look for the early AC locos

This video is amazing!!! I subscribed!
Lovely model of the class 700 right there! looks exactly like the 700 in real life which pulls into Platform 4 at Sevenoaks. Love it!
Thank you mate! I have watched your spotting videos on many occasions :)
Excellent modelling, love it 👍🏻
Thank you for watching and commenting, really appreciate it! :)
I've attached to this so much
Fabulous to say the least, well done
Thank you!
Absolutely superb layout 👌
Thank you! :)
Brilliant, I just looking to get a slow Charing X and get off at Chelsfield!!!!
Cool :)
I want these models sooo much... were they custom? If so. It looks so real
Looks incredible!
Fantastic work
Thank you :)
Right that looks incredibly good, is this like a private model railway thing or one of those public ones or something, because it’s so damn cool
Thanks! It's a private home based layout, fixed in place so can't be exhibited but I'm trying to share as much of it online as I can :)

One day you should make a 376 to compete the southeastern fleet
It's something I've thought about, I do find them rather odd looking though!

Good to see you back and is that a Dapol 73 in Dutch livery ?
Also I love the Class 700 is that a kit build ?
Cheers Kev

I thought so , always hoping someone will bring out a RTR 700
Cheers Kev
I am jealous
im not sure if you take requests for trains but if you can i know it will be hard but the class800
For the class 700 did you 3D print the body and put it over a different model or did you make the whole chassis from scratch?

@@sevenoaksOO ok thanks for the info that's very impressive
Ik you would say no but how much for the electro star and maybe the class 456 ? I’m being dead serious
They're not for sale, sorry.
which company makes the class 700 in oo gauge

Your 700 only has 5 cars instead of 8 or 12 but apart from that its very cool
Thanks. Yes, I know. The station isn't long enough for an 8 coach unit. And my wallet isn't thick enough either.
where did you even get the trains from?
(edit: nevermind i think i found the answer)

What about a 375 & 700
Where can I download this game?
