In theory, absolutely. In practice, no. Morph turning into any character would be a problem for the studio to afford the actors and make them play their roles but worse. I want Morph to go wild with his transformations which he can't do in a movie or a TV show for that matter.
Morph can turn into anyone he wants, regardless of gender. So why would gender matter to him? Anyone glorifying him being non binary forgets that this is a cartoon.
how could anyone possibly hate this sweet looking animation style its so flash vibrant and electric like how it would look in the comics some just dont understand what makes something good these days
I think marvel was a bit woke with past movies/shows, but not anymore, ppl r just looking for an excuse to hate. How do they expect a character that doesnt have a face nor proper body to have a gender???
Not a big fan of morph being non binary, since he’s always identified as a man previously. Same goes for Iceman being gay. Throwing in random plot points with well established characters doesn’t make any sence to me. Despite this, it by no means ruined morph for me. He did well as the comic relief.
Morph's gender identity was never explored in the original series, beyond them presenting as a man by default in the short time we saw them before they had their mind shattered and spent the rest of the series having a massive ongoing mental health crisis where their gender was not really a major concern (though they apparently had no problem shape shifting into women and being very flirtatious with men). For what it is, they have been non-binary in the comics since 2003, which, as far as I know, was the first time their never identity or actual backstory was ever explored, and it depicted them as being born as a sexless grey blob who only started identifying themselves as male before their came to the Xavier School because it made their parents comfortable and their life easier.
There’s some political channels that go way too far with the things they say. But the average movie reviewer that does point this stuff out and think it damages what’s being made, in more than a few ways, are usually willing to backpedal the things they say if it turns out it’s not damaging. Remember, part of the reason that people are sick of the woke stuff is when there is woke elements, it tends to go alongside a decrease in quality with everything else. Humans see patterns, and when things like this come out before the show releases people can’t help but be skeptical.
If you ever want more of the specific version of Morph, would very much recommend the Exiles comics from the early 2000’s. Great stuff and a very refreshing take on an X-team. :)

It’s pretty odd to be “proud” that you liked something. 😂 You didn’t have anything to do with it.
Aim higher.
Morph needs to be in the live action X-Men
Facts
In theory, absolutely. In practice, no.
Morph turning into any character would be a problem for the studio to afford the actors and make them play their roles but worse. I want Morph to go wild with his transformations which he can't do in a movie or a TV show for that matter.
@@CoolManCoolMan123 Yeah your right
@@LacTose90agreed in the mcu
No 😂
Morph can turn into anyone he wants, regardless of gender. So why would gender matter to him? Anyone glorifying him being non binary forgets that this is a cartoon.
how could anyone possibly hate this sweet looking animation style its so flash vibrant and electric like how it would look in the comics some just dont understand what makes something good these days
It looks like archer
I think marvel was a bit woke with past movies/shows, but not anymore, ppl r just looking for an excuse to hate. How do they expect a character that doesnt have a face nor proper body to have a gender???
Exactly
You're a king, Doom. Such a king. And quite possibly the best of us fans.
I agree completely
I’m glad you made a video on this
this gives me hope in humanity
There’s some political channels that go way too far with the things they say. But the average movie reviewer that does point this stuff out and think it damages what’s being made, in more than a few ways, are usually willing to backpedal the things they say if it turns out it’s not damaging.
Remember, part of the reason that people are sick of the woke stuff is when there is woke elements, it tends to go alongside a decrease in quality with everything else. Humans see patterns, and when things like this come out before the show releases people can’t help but be skeptical.
Big fan no way no one saw this comment 🎉🎉🎉

Morph was one my favorites in the old series. I’m glad they’re back in the spotlight.
He wasn’t in the spotlight that much he was barely in the show the only time he was getting spotlight was when he was a deferent character and not being a important character hopefully he may have more of a story in the next season
For me he went from hated to slightly less hated
Exactly
Maybe they simply saw the stuff that was in other bad products and used pattern recognition to assume it would be more of the same. Then, when it comes out and it's good, they correct themselves and say that the show was actually good. They were wrong and said so, just like with HotD, in which it was worrying before it came out due to previous product like GoT season 8, but when it comes out and is fantastic, they acknowledge that it is so.
“MORPH SMASH!” -hulk morph
Your transition looks like it's going well
I loved Morph ever since the first episode of the animated series, then I realized that they killed a funny character with potential, THEN I was so happy to see him back a great character with a great arc. Plus he was probably non binary in the og show its just they didn’t show it that much
I love seeing all the heroes and villains that morph transformed into as fun little cameos

Bro X-Men 97 showed Wolverine as side character..
But remember Wolverine is the Batman or Ironman of X-Men.
I'm really disappointed about this.😢
if u go back and rewatch the og run you’ll see, wolverine was never the center of attention. he had a few leading episodes but was in no way the central character. xavier, cyclops, and jean were rlly the stars. i actually loved that they took the focus off wolverine in this show, comics and movies have been way too obsessed with him bc of how good hugh jackman was
honestly wolverine being the main character is a relatively recent development. originally wolverine was just one of the large cast of x-men.

I knew very little about the X-Men going into this show and immediately 2 characters stood out to me, Cyclops and Morph. Morph is just a funny person but is serious when they need to be. Hope he gets more screen time in season 2
Unless I don’t understand something about his powers If you give it some thought morph is actually the most op x men because he can transform into any human alive and has there powers as we see with hulk psylocke, colossus etc
Good work with the videos ❤them keep them coming 👌👍
Morph was my favorite X-Men from back in the day. I'm just happy he wasn't ruined this time around on 97.
I remember Morph had such an annoying laugh and was pushed into the punching bag role.
Getting actual love and development, They are so much better for it✨
I didn’t know what to expect with morph and I heard a lot of people trashing their character before they even really watched it and my thing is as long as their not using this character to shove a message down my throat and they write the character well, then I’m all good with it. and morph did not disappoint it was a good introduction to the character and I loved all the cameos!
My biggest concern for them in live is how their default form would translate in terms of costume or CGI. Like how they don't make them look like at all scary because I have had this thought that the animators might not be able to offer any advice other than the base form of all characters who can also show sarcasm.
Morph is awesome, i can't wait to see how their story plays out in season 2 and definitely hope we see them in the MCU.
Moral of the story just watch the show before you hate on it.
Morph is so underrated in that like you said ESPECIALLY when he makes jokes
To be honest rogue had a better dumpy in 97 than the 90s show since 97 is rated pg 13. Also morph being a they makes since since they can be anyone, just saying.
I absolutely love the show and Morph is one of my favs. So with this in mind it does kinda hurt to know that many people who share the same views as me are shitting on it.
I went from not giving a shit about Morph and then turning into Wolverine asking, “BUT WHAT ABOUT MORPH!”
I never cared for Morph in the og show but I love them here. As someone who is partially NB myself, I love having representation no matter how subtle. Also I ship them with Logan so badly when I saw the confession in the finale, I actually screamed.
