  • Having a powerful and versatile guard in jiu-jitsu is a necessity, and without the ability to retain that guard and prevent people from passing it, you won't have very much success with sweeps or submissions. This video addresses concepts, strategies and techniques for preventing a variety of guard passes. I hope you find it useful. Thanks as always for watching!

Love the content, you always strive to make things simple. For white belts like myself, I think it is always better to learn a few simple things, practice it, and build on it with time. Will try these next rolling session

Esse última foi muito muito top. Pensei que iria para o Arm Lock 11 como o Sr sempre faz ( pernas cruzadas no pescoço ) , mas o Sr foi para o triângulo. Bakana demais. Oss !!! Brazil

Great vid Eli!!!!! The guard pull all white belts are taught where we grab their go and one foot on their hip and then pull them down. Are there any ways to use this basic guard pull but make little changes to pull off something better than just pulling them into guard.

Not sure if this answers the question but this is a guard pull fake to ankle pick I like a lot th-cam.com/video/L32SLrEEGeE/w-d-xo.html
