- It's the crew's annual Victoria Day long-weekend trip....and they gave me the opportunity to be the trip organizer.
Let's say I made everyone pay for it. LOL
The longest route to date.
4 days.
3 nights.
46km from Rain to Misty and back.
Over 11km of portages, in back-to-back 7-portage-days that made sure my career as trip organizer as short and sweet. One and done!

Rain lake is one of my favourite entrance points! the hiking trails are some of the most enjoyable in the park!
I’ve done 2 trips from there, and would like to conquer that section of the Western Uplands Trail…maybe later this season.
btw get yourself a thermacell, we were out on the trails in prime bug season not too long ago and that piece of tech changes the game I would never leave without it.
@@OutsideOntario I have it, but on this last one I didn't think it was going to be that bad. Lesson learned!🤣
