He only changed after achieving #1. If he hadn’t, he would’ve been the same. Him regretting his actions just tells me he abused his family for nothing. He only deserves redemption after he loses everything he gained from his terrible behavior

In fact, Endeavor tried to "stop" him in the worst way possible, making other children to replace him (which he consciously knew Touya would understand and mentally torture him, but Endeavor underestimated how much) and ignoring/running away from Touya and leaving his care to Rei alone (even when it was proven to him that this wasn't working, nor fixing anything).

I know Endeavor deserves what he is getting, but at the same time, he has grown to be more human than before and I can feel bad for him. I don’t agree with him for hurting his family for trying to surpass All Might, but the fact he has been trying to gain them back is something I can respect. He could have ignored his family completely once he became the No. 1 but no. He wants his family back and is trying to make things right before it is all over. He has some good in his heart still and he is softening up. I don’t think we should be so merciless towards him since he’s trying, in my opinion.
I agree, Ill be honest i hated him until the fight with that nomu. And now that he killed his past abusive self with the nomu, and is trying to make ammends, that takes a true heart. Now he's actually changing into a real man and a real father

I feel bad for Dabi ( sorry I don’t know how to spell his real name) I went through abandonment with my biological parents when I was a baby. My bio mom and dad chose drugs over me and while I think my bio dad wanted to keep me or get me back after he got out of prison my bio mom chose drugs over me and gave me up. While I think it was better this way and I’m so much happier with the parents who adopted me who I consider my actual parents I feel and understand how Dabi feels. The anger, the hurt, the sadness, and the want for revenge in some way. And there is also the little bit of a want for them to have loved me enough for them to have made the right choice. And the feeling that I did something wrong in some way or that I messed or that it was MY fault. Sorry for over sharing but it helps a little to have a character you can sympathize with and understand.

I get that endeavor did go through a bit of character development, but he does deserve this, I'm all for changing.. but you can't just change and not face anything for what you've done. He abused his family, used todoroki's mom for what is essentially selective breeding, and on top of that he was an overall shitstain of a person.
To top it off, it got so bad Rei ended up in the psychiatric hospital following the tea kettle incident with a then five year old Shoto. She couldn't see her own children for so long.
