Poor toya he was so badly neglected and abused through endeavor who gave up on him because Shoto was born he wanted to be the one who could complete his fathers dream and endeavor thought so too but because he burned himself while doing so endeavor tried to stop him but it made it worse it made him feel that his father didn’t want him to complete his dream and it made toya go insane like rei did when she poured kettle water on shoto’s left eye

Please stop because his dad did care about him why do you think he stopped training him? It’s because he noticed that his son was slowly burning his own body with his quirk to Dabi just refusing to accept it and kept pushing his body farther and farther anyways. He slapped rei because she didn’t even bother trying to stop her own son from burning himself that’s why he was so pissed so please don’t say he abused him. He was ignoring dabi for his own good cuz all dabi wanted todo was train so you can’t really call it neglect he just wasn’t being trained anymore. He was never even being abused or neglected he was only being ignored when it came down to training

I can see all the ways enji is a bad father here, and how a child who wasn't mature enough to understand was being very persistent. I mean, if enji wanted, he could've still bought support items or something to help. This shows the overprotectiveness of enji ,and his toxic mindset. Glad he's changing tho. Endeavor gave dabi all his ambitions but then he tried to make dabi stop using his quirk because it was basically killing him. But toya is just as stubborn as endeavor and didnt listen. Is not that he didnt love Toya is that he didnt want toya to hurt himself.
