Something that's absolutely terrifying to me is that even while trying to kill him, Dabi seems genuinely proud and impressed by Todoroki
It's really sad too, I think he still has some love for Shoto, but his hatred and resentment has completely consumed him.

Look at me." that dude just waited for some acknowledgement from his family all his life, he's very aware his siblings are innocent, he just wants to be seen by any means possible.

Dabi has literally become unfeeling in every regard. His fire has totally fractured every single nerve in his body to the point where he can't feel pain anymore and all the suffering and trauma he went through as a child has made him numb to the feelings and suffering of others.
He’s already gone. The only pleasure he feels is from the suffering of his father

@@neofulcrum5013 I normally wouldn't but when the outcome of that altruism results in suffering I get mad, Deku should go to kill against Shigaraki and Toya, if he can restrain some of the rest great but those two need to go, no one can stop them forever and they just need a win to make massive damage.
@Phant0m It's not a waste, since it aligns Deku with his morals and ways still which in a way probably empowers him. If it's pointless to try and save somebody who is already gone/going to die/etc. then you're not thinking like a "hero". Deku goes in and tries regardless of the outcome, so long as he tries to help somebody then he's living as he feels right.

I love the fact that the stitches on his mouth are ripping, showing that he has never smiled (at least this big) until now. Also it does a good job of making him look more unhinged.

Actually since he's never used Blueflame on screen like this at all until now, he's literally burning more places beyond the stitching since he's over using his Quirk and exceeding his limit.

I like how in the dub, Dabi corrects Todoroki's ultimate move by saying "no, JET BURN" in response to his Jet Kindling.
Jet burn really does seem more powerful than jet kindling endeavor really needs to teach shoto some of his power moves

@@tomdaturtle5792 Either that, or Shoto is just acknowledging that he's still not fully grown yet, so naming his moves something that sounds/is slightly weaker just makes sense so that it can be more satisfying once he gets to the level (as a fully grown adult) where he can honestly use the full powered names and versions of those attacks.

It’s not that I don’t want to forgive Endeavor, it’s just not something I think I can really bring myself to do. Like, if I’m gonna throw all logic out the window and just stick to my feelings, not much would change.
I know that Touya became this way because he was denied the help that he needed. The least I can do is give him that kinda help now.
And Endeavor, well, I can’t really say I owe him anything. If anything he owes Touya the help he needs too.
Now I don’t think either of them can really come back from the things they did. Even if Touya somehow manages to see the error of his ways he should still be held accountable, but I’m willing to take that chance with him. Because unlike Endeavor, he hasn’t gotten a chance yet.
I guess there’s more to it than that, but as long as Endeavor is going around being called a hero, I won’t be giving up on Touya.

I loved those scenes with him, and Kaji Yuki is just amazing as his VA.
Dabi literally sent his little brother Shoto into a crying rage after learning the truth about everything. Especially the fact that he sent the independent villains, star servant, and Ending to attack their own family.
Shoto crying while fighting Dabi, interestingly it was his burnt face that cried, the red haired one. As if he cries for his father too
No both sides were crying just the red side contrasted more and made it more noticeable

The problem is he would probably die at the age of 40 or 50 because having more than one quirk can be deadly. The exception is you have a body that can handle multiple quirks and Dabi can't even handle his original quirk.
He offered him a quirk upgrade but Touya refused himself, i think it's better he refused because it has alot to do with his character, he wanted to be accepted for his real self

My point is... he was left in a coma for 3 years under AFO and Garaki. No way AFO would save someone without taking advantage out of them even if they refused to, if Touya was actually dead (not "saved") and his body was forced back to life (like the half nomu he is) there's a RARE possibility that if he dies or triggers something in his body, it will turn will turn into a full nomu, that would be scary. I said rare possibility because he SPOILERS
awakened an ice quirk the same way with Bakugo's awakening, so there's a bigger chance he was ABOUT to die but he survived by what we call AFO's "medics"😂

Dabi really is the definition of "the quiet ones are always the most dangerous". You don't see him too much or that often in the show, but once he revealed himself all those years of built up emotion finally came out.

Man Dabi really kinda stole the whole show with this arc even though it’s more so about Deku vs Shigaraki. That Dabi’s Dance episode was just too memorable and you can see he’s going out of his way to torture his family

If Endeavor’s PB was a blast strong enough to kill a high End Nomu, then we can assume Dabi’s PB, whos flames are stronger than Endeavor’s, would not only kill Endeavor but also reduce Dabi to nothing but ashes.
His hatred is so big, trauma rooted so deep into his sould that he would die laughing maniacally if he killed his own father
The question is: he doesn't care about how his body burns while he uses and increases the intensity of the flames, mainly because he doesn't feel pain... we have to remember that the reason he is still alive even today after many years is to hate his father and make him suffer using any resource available: his family, innocent people, heroes... everything so that Enji suffers as much as possible, preferably forever... It's the way Touya found for his father to see that he existed , because in Touya's mind when Enji decided not to train him (because of the burns) and moves away from his son's presence, this made the boy interpret that he was a failure and that he had no more sense of living, if not was to fulfill Enji's wish to surpass All Might.
I personally thought that Dabis Prominence Burn was like a suicide bomb on Endeavor.

Well the thing is strange cuz you all say Dabi is like Azula and Shoto is like Zuko. But the thing is Azula was a masterpiece, while Zuko was the failure in their father eyes. Remember that “she was born lucky, he was lucky to be born”. Dabi and Shoto reflect only the power of fire from them.
In their case Shoto is the masterpiece, while Dabi was unsuited. Also, Dabi s intention to get recognized by his father kinda matched Zuko’s at the beginning. But Zuko was burned by Ozai, Dabi burnt himself in order to feel visible, to matter to Endeavor. He knew (in a kids mind) there is only way to get his father to notice him and he did that, because attention was more important than the damage he did to himself.

dabi is one of my favourite characters if not my favourite. His backstory, behaviour, quirk, looks, everything is so amazing. he’s such a good character.

Honestly wish dabi would be the final boss in the show. This reveal was executed perfectly, plus the narrative of endeavors selfish desires to pass all might finally coming true with touya receiving all for one coming to bite him in the ass. Add on the fact that all mights successor became an adoptive some to enji and touya became an adoptive son to one for all would have made for a much more compelling arc then demon king afo
