I LOVED the look on your face when the high sopranos started singing. I really get tickled when vocal coaches try to tie Dan down to a high baritone or a low tenor. Even when they hear him sing things like "Bring Me to Life," they get all excited when he's hitting alto notes. I keep shaking my head and thinking, "Oh, just wait..." and hoping against hope that they won't pass over this one! (grin) I have sung every single part of that song, and I know exactly how hard it can be to get those high notes right. Dan gets every part SPLENDIDLY! It just blows me away every time I hear it (which is often, because I just HAVE to!!!). 😀 He calls this his journey into insanity, by the way! Can you imagine all the singing and getting it just right, and then mixing it all together...for 24 parts?! YIKES! WONDERFUL reaction. Thank you very much! 😀

When I sang the alto to this in our church choir in high school it took me straight to Heaven. This song is just that powerful. 24 Dan Vasc; overwhelming. Yes I feel it too.
Notice that he has sung each of the 24 parts separately, they are not copies of one in each section. It took me watching this about a dozen times to figure it all out. He is outstanding in not only his voice but in putting it all together on tape.

In his native language, by the way. The lyrics describe someone who is determined to believe in their goal against adversity and never give up. I think that number (274) is correct. I'm pretty sure I heard him say that in an interview he was doing for someone's podcast. He usually says that he does up to five recordings for every part, and then he has to listen to them all and then start mixing. If it really was 274 takes, then he did way more than five each (5 x 24 = 120). He calls it his journey into insanity. 😀 Also...yes! Bohemian Rhapsody...PLEASE! 😀
