We're getting our puppy in exactly 2 weeks so I'm doing a crash course on puppy training. Out of hundreds of channels to choose from, y'all are definitely my favorite and the easiest to understand. Thank you for these! You're helping set up thousands of dogs for success!!
@just me yo I've been watching so many dog training videos and taking so many notes that I've been literally having dreams about dog training 😂😂 Congrats on your pup! You're setting pup up for success by being such a good owner! I feel way more prepared thanks to all of these McCann videos!!!
@@eyengrid a Merle mini Australian Shepherd with blue eyes 😍 I can’t wait to train. Been watching all training videos long before we even found his momma.
@@SimiiiIsabella Congratulations hope you get the perfect pup. I'm already totally in love with mine even though the pandemic has prevented me from going to visit her. The breeder is doing am incredible job of socialising her under the circumstances and is giving me regular updates 😊.
Hi Kayle and Ken, just wanted to say your channel has made my life with my new puppy enjoyable. My routines are structured after your videos and I can't be happier with my pup, Shisui's success so far! He's only been home for two weeks and made so much progress since he first got here. I love him so much already because he's been a good boy thanks to your guidance!!!
These puppy videos are amazing! We are collecting our first puppy tomorrow and while I’m still nervous, I also feel a lot more prepared and with a clear idea of what things I will be doing with the puppy during the first 2 days
We just met our new pup yesterday. A 14 week old border collie. I am so thankful for your tips and trick for success! Thank you so much for your instructional videos!
Now that you know more about HOW to train your puppy, here’s a video that will show you WHAT to teach them: th-cam.com/play/PL7BBgLulhernHMxphM5kNPQ90U0Y60rQY.html
Love these videos. You’ve helped me lots with my now 12 week old puppy. That BC is gorgeous. Mine is a cross BC and poodle but lots of BC qualities... 😂keeps me moving!
Reviewed your vid library and didn’t see anything on training when you have 2 at the same time. We have sibling sisters and it’s been a challenge to train and now they are 2 years old. Would love to see a vid addressing this as I’m sure many people have more than one dog. Thanks. :)
Hello! Thank you for great videos, I’m learning all the time! I wanted to ask you about an issue I’m having currently. I live in a building, and I have a 1 yr old Yorkshire Poodle. I’m trying to use more of a crate to give him space and time off when I’m busy or simple need some break. Freddie likes to be very attached to me so I’m trying to break that. My Freddie doesn’t always likes the crate and currently likes to bark in it. I have one neighbour that is complaining of the noise which doesn’t allow me to continue the training process. I’m very sad and worried what to do now. Freddie started using a barking collar too. Thank you very much
I hope you get the answer to this problem! Maybe joining their Live Stream and asking the question there will be more likely to get you a response? Sounds like your Freddie loves you lots! I hope you can find a solution!! ❤
I will be bringing home a golden retriever puppy in a couple of months, I work 3, 12 hour shifts a week. What are some recommendations for taking care of the puppy on my work days?
Hi there, I've been watching and loving your videos. We are expecting a new puppy soon, and I was wondering about training with multiple owners. If we have 2 people in our household and 1 is home much more often, do we need to make sure that the puppy gets equal training time from each of us in order for them to reliably follow commands from both people, or can we expect that if they learn a command, they will follow it no matter who says it and how much time that person has been able to spend with them? Thanks!
Hi there im having issues with my 2 puppers. They both have almost 7 weeks and are littermates. Ive read about this “syndrome” aswell and now im not sure on how to work with them individualy. If there are any videos already or if you could help us out that would be amazing. Thanks a lot. Byw love your content
Separation anxiety training please. My duchshand is 3 months old. He was okay at first but we went vacation last holloween break and when we're back at home, he suddenly got separation anxiety Everytime I went out of the door.
I got my puppy (bullmastiff) when he was 6 weeks old. He's now 3.5 months old. I am disabled and was hoping to train him for mobility help. I did not find you guys until now! And I am overwhelmed. I have had dogs (rescues all over a year and at least potty trained) never this young. I was not prepared at all. He's not potty trained or crate trained yet because I didn't know. Is it too late now? How do I teach these basic things at this age? Having mobility issues, I feel like I just can't move fast enough to train him. Any help/advise/ideas would be great!! Thank you!
Yeah, this is one of the most important topics in building a well trained and we'll socialize dog. Advice for navigation of these periods would be much appreciated!
We'd appreciate this too! Our Aussie has gone through one already, and it can be puzzling to know how to handle it. Thanks so much for all you guys do!
Thank you so much for all your videos! They have helped me so much with my new puppy. I do have a question though, my puppy really isn’t interested in any food (kibble, treats, and cooked chicken). This makes it incredibly difficult to train him. What would you recommend I do?
Hi there, Delaney! A toy can be a good motivator for puppies that are not interested in treats. This video should help: Have You Tried Using TOYS As A Reward In Your Puppy Training?th-cam.com/video/7K95lEaRTWU/w-d-xo.html Happy Training

Oh yeah of that I have no doubt. I've never had the opportunity to have a kid yet though I've wanted one for a lone time.

Great information but the rapid fire delivery made it hard to listen to the video. For me prefer slower presentation but that is just me.
I agree, so I slowed it to x75 speed; much better. Click in upper right corner to find the SPEED option.

How do you differentiate a puppy wanting to go outside and play as opposed to wanting to go to the toilet and an accident happens inside?

How do you teach a dog to not be upset when you give affection to any other person (husband, kids, etc)?
