Jerry Vansickel - a man of many hats...

"Jvan" is quite the character.
A many of many diverse talents with a deep and ingrained passion for IMCA Racing.
A flagman, an announcer, a salesman, a sponsorship manager - a promoter of Marshalltown Speedway in Iowa.
He's definitely a 'wide open' kinda guy.
When he's on the chip on the mike his style is unmistakable.
With a string of one-liners he'll never be one of those 'straight down the middle' announcers and that's quite OK with me.
Joined with his IMCA Super Nationals ride or die Ryan Clark though and it's the perfect blend.
Under that loud exterior is a kind and generous heart though and a global thinking view of the industry and its people.
He's "JVan."
They broke the mould when they made this guy...let's face it, none of us could cope with two of him anyway!
