Not a call-out, but I wanna give credit to 44Busdriver. His video on Liu Che/Alex was about 1-3 days before Omniarch's, and his angle on presenting his data was VERY compelling. If you haven't checked him out, he's putting out VERY strong analysis, showing his math, ect... (LLL - I never saw your video, but I'll check you out.)
This is what Lilith should do. New meta commanders should have synergy with existing, older commanders. Nobody wants to feel that their time and investments are now worthless.

I am F2P & run Mehmed secondary to my Scipio and get good trades. Eventually I will put GH into Liu Che to replace Mehmed, but not for a least 6-7 months. The real change that is needed is to reset GC commanders and lower the expertise cost. They should only cost perhaps 2/3 what the SOC commanders cost
@@rongray35 It's been a year since I first started playing the game, and I spent about $5,000, but the only KVK2 commanders that have been awakened are Alexander and Constantine, and only two SOC commanders have been awakened. At least for F2P, there is absolutely no room to train old commanders, and the only way to make up the difference is to continue training strong new commanders.

I do feel like you underestimate Alex LC still man. The damage reduction debuff he is immune to can be stacked to 25% (10% passive LC, 15% Zhuge active skill) making him only deal 75% of his total damage. His healing reduction is good against Huo and Boudicca P (in particular huo and his massive healing on his expertise). This makes marches have less troop cap and deal less damage and have less presence. His instant proc dmg is the second highest of all viable pairs. He is never a hindrance on the field unlike gorgo and is actually a speed demon on the field. He has arguably the strongest debuff in the game that lasts 4 seconds enough for 10, 12 or 14 skill casts depending on how many marches you use. Not to mention it is AoE. Results: Ploto, a player who got 200M+ kills in a kvk or 4B kp against 1960 had it as his best performing march. GT taco is a top 30 contributor in 1960 who used him against 1034 and got 250M+ kills. Worst case scenario: it is still your worst performing march but doesn’t get caught lacking behind when retreating and you don’t have to wait for it to arrive to refresh. It is never a hindrance like I said. 1960 doesn’t settle for substitutes I’d say, better to look at the pair closely it really is amazing. Thanks for reading this comment, gl in FFA kvk chisgule :)
Don't laugh, but I tried in open field Liu Che with Honda secondary ( both expertise) and it's good pair! Good trades, a lot of march speed, bunch of attack, and quite tanky, try it!
Thinking about the open field, we cannot forget that Scipio provides a shield. Then Alex will have his own shield and Scipio's shield, receiving a bonus to defense (30%) and no attack (40%) in the fourth skill.
I was still using Alex / CJ to wreck players in SoC. One of my favorite marches. Finally will break them up to try this. Also did Pyrrhus Liu Che last kvk and it was my single best infantry march.
Alex primary for cheese burgering is better. 3 enemies take 30% extra damage before LC damage comes out! If you're cheese burgering people are trying to swarm you instantly regardless of whether or not you have a 'noob alert' commander.
I still prefer Scip / Alex tbh. I get that the synergy is a little better on LC / Alex, but the actual inf attack stat on that march is much lower. Scip / Alex is strong, more balanced and put in tons of work last kvk for me. As an inf main, Scip / Alex and Gorgo / LC has been my go-to lately.
You should try LC/Alex in the field. The combo is great and is useful for more than just city popping. I did 2.3B KP last kvk and this was my best march. For context, I ran 5 field marches all expertise; 1. Guan/Scipio 2. LC/Alex 3. Boudicca/Arte 4. ZGL/Nebu 5. Nev/Joan

Don't spend any gold heads on martel if you're f2p or low spender, just get it from golden chest. I think if you're on KVK 1 to 3 go for YSG it's so versatile, then Scipio.
Why liu and alex is good pretty simple because of smite,expertise of liu and 2nd skill and +40 attack of alex in murder ball that pair doesnt need to complete one cycle to have good trade hit and run plus expertise proc is enough

Yeah, but u better with Gorgo/Liu and Guan/Scipio or Scipio something. Of course, you want to max Liu anyway, but especifically for Liu/Alex expertise is really relevant
I have been cheeseburgering with Liu Che+Harold and it’s been crazily good, you will never lose a trade with that, but only works with T4, do not use T5 with this combo.
I actually been saying that since the Liu release, that Sargon just sucks with his sticking to the target ultimate and alex is buffing him (and others)even more
I’ve been following you for years Chisgule. I appreciate the video and will say I think over time you have lost touch a bit with governors who are trying to get value as opposed to mega whales and krakens. I say this because Liu Alex was not only said by Omniarch but many others such as Cwill, 44Busdriver etc. I think a lot of your more recent videos have been what the meta is (which is what you have on your main) and what you should be building to. However, most players need some intermediate options such as a Liu Alex or Liu Freddy which are never mentioned for those looking to upgrade.

The main advantage of greatest glory is the accessibility. Very easy to obtain. Also extremely good for rally and garrison. It is certainly good for this combo, however is not typically what you’d craft for open field

I maxed him and have zero regrets. Still the highest kills I have on any commander by almost double. Been in SoC a while now and have Scip, LC and Gorgo done... Alex hasn't left my lineup once. I'm an inf main tho. Not sure if he'd be as worth if you main something else.

it is what i thought. my main has Alex exp and i will try him with liu next kvk and put scipio back with guan. but my farm/alt just has a 5551 alex and it has more important commanders to work on so im not putting any universals in him. got the 5511 gorgo from MGE only
I just finished kvk2 and my Alex is at 5 5 5 1, I have 1660 gold sculptures but only 1 legendary set of inf gear. Im torn between building a second set and running LC/Alex and Guan Scipio when they are available or should I just run SC/LC and stay with one inf march.
I would say stick with SC/LC and reserve those gh for next infa comm (if Sun Tzu Prime is true most likely coming in the next six months). You can slowly upgrade Alex from Sovereign Keys (better use them during Heart Desire), Daily Chest (purchase during Commander Recharge and Gem Rush which provide greater value with extra Alex heads).
I’ve been using this combo last kvk as one of my inf marches and it’s working really well (I was able to get great trades against strong opponents). People usually avoid to attack Charles in the field if he’s primary as he’s really tanky. Also Charles gives 30% all damage bonus for 4 seconds what overlaps with Liu Che active skill.
Take into consideration that Infantry are More Tanky, and Archers are squishy . So I think first start with Liu Che and put him With Alex. Then work on Zhuge Liang put him with Boudica. After that make one Cavalry march.
If you invest in both Liu Che and Scipio at same time it will take longer time to get just one march. But if You work on Liu Che then Zhuge Liang, you will get two marches

16M kills yesterday. LC/Alex outshined ZL/Hermann and Nev/Joan. I was running Scipio/LC before that and it was amazing but LC/Alex was even better!

yo Chisgule would you rather LC exp/Alex 5551 or Gorgo 5511/LC Exp ?
these are my options on my f2p alt account.
If Alex is not maxed he is not do good. So better go Gorgo. If you already have Alex it’s ok, but don’t put Golden Heads into Alexander.
it is what i thought. my main has Alex exp and i will try him with liu next kvk and put scipio back with guan. but my farm/alt just has a 5551 alex and it has more important commanders to work on so im not putting any universals in him. got the 5511 gorgo from MGE only
I just finished kvk2 and my Alex is at 5 5 5 1, I have 1660 gold sculptures but only 1 legendary set of inf gear. Im torn between building a second set and running LC/Alex and Guan Scipio when they are available or should I just run SC/LC and stay with one inf march.
I would say stick with SC/LC and reserve those gh for next infa comm (if Sun Tzu Prime is true most likely coming in the next six months). You can slowly upgrade Alex from Sovereign Keys (better use them during Heart Desire), Daily Chest (purchase during Commander Recharge and Gem Rush which provide greater value with extra Alex heads).

Is Charles martel liu che good?
I’ve been using this combo last kvk as one of my inf marches and it’s working really well (I was able to get great trades against strong opponents). People usually avoid to attack Charles in the field if he’s primary as he’s really tanky. Also Charles gives 30% all damage bonus for 4 seconds what overlaps with Liu Che active skill.
I heard that it's really really good especially for Martel double relic 🤩 but don't invest gh in him if u didn't yet
i use Liu/Alex and this pair have almost same or better trades than liu/scipio | scipio/liu (2nd pair scipio/tariq)

Should I invest in Lui, Scipio or Zhuge first? I have Alex exp and Boudica Prime 5551.
It depends on your Equipment, is your Infantry Equipment better or Archer is better?.
Take into consideration that Infantry are More Tanky, and Archers are squishy . So I think first start with Liu Che and put him With Alex. Then work on Zhuge Liang put him with Boudica. After that make one Cavalry march.
If you invest in both Liu Che and Scipio at same time it will take longer time to get just one march. But if You work on Liu Che then Zhuge Liang, you will get two marches
is there any possibility that you can migrate even though that your character is older than the server?

China gives buff to building speed. After you get all buildings to level 25 you can Switch to something else.

@@Chisgule In C kingdoms open field ball is going back and forth and that 30% move speed plus instant proc just makes it that liu che alex does more dmg overall. im sure in a big ball where you sad face gorgo liu che will be better.
