Love KL and have been collecting dem discs for years. Thanks for the commentaries, folks! It's like attending the best version of a Q&A for chosen faves and you guys rock! The Teain is indeed a top-notch release. And all your picks do show a film lover's taste.
Giant Behemoth was not Ray Harryhausen. Must be thinking of Beast from 20,000 Fathoms. Behemoth did have Willis OBrian for the London sequence. Question: why couldn't Kino release the uncut GOOD BAD UGLY in 4k? Italian disc has it...what prevented Kino from offering it in 4K?
Frank , I love Kino.. I am curious about Buck Rogers in 25th century. I never thought I would see the theatrical cut. But you gave it to us. How well did it sell and why no Gil Gerald comentary?
No, those are Fox titles and I don't think I have to tell you who owns them now. They've just signed a distribution deal with Sony. Porky's and Bachelor Party are probably long shots but the rumor is we will soon get films like Fight Club in 4K. Bill Hunt from the digital bits says he's excited about some 4K Fox titles that are in the works but can't disclose what they are yet.
Kino does not own the film or it’s transfer if it’s a film from licensed from a studio or producer. They are a 3rd party licensing company. That said, Kino owns several films in their library so in those cases they certainly own the film and it’s transfer.

Is it just me or does Frank's voice sound hella different here?
Yeah different microphone

Catlow (Yul Brynner) also needs a blu ray
What difference does it make what format? If it was released once, it should be allowed an upgrade.
Stranger on the Run is a great Western
Any plan for films like Bachelor Party, Splash, Porky's...etc to go alongside Up The Creek?
Could we eventually see a 4k Film Noir series?

I would love to ask a question. If Kino does the 4K transfer or restoration, does Kino keep the 4k or restoration or does the movie company get it?
