      Hey smashy, For pom pom's shell sprites, you ad her behavier from SM3DL. If you don't know, In 3D land, pom pom doesn't have the teleporting ability and instead gets into her shell, fly above mario, and ground pound (in 3D land, pom pom also has a boomerang instead of the shuriken).

    PomPom does go in her shell in Mario 3D Land, but instead of spinning around, she kinda floats in the air for a bit and slams down to try and hit the player, I'd recommend adding that

      Maybe have 2 versions of Pom Pom, the one from 3DW and the one from 3DL that throws boomerangs and goes into her shell. Also could do the same for Boom Boom and add a variation which goes into his shell and turns invisible just like the 3DW one.

    1:01 Ngl, it would be sick for Bowser to make a fire wall as an ability so you'll have to jump over it. And for the Pom Pom shell, you could make one of the clones turn into its shell form and chase Mario while he tries to jump on the real one. On the other hand though, you could just make her do the shell slam she does in 3D Land.

    You could implement that one attack she uses in Super Mario 3D Land that happens every time you hit her, however, you could simply add it as an extra attack (since you already added transitions between her phases). What she does is she goes in her shell, elevates herself a certain distance above Mario, waits a moment, and then slams down. I'll attach a link below:

    2 ideas I have: Rotating hills, being the ones in NSMB Wii, and Negitive blocks, which would delete parts of objects they overlap with. This could be used to hollow out certain parts of objects (like part of the hill!)

    In general, i feel like all of the gimmivks should have some toggle feature. Like with the Dry Jr. shell fire, it would be cool so that it is usable in more varieties of situations.

    Fun Fact: To defeat the real pom pom in super mario bros. 8-bit would be the part of her head which has a green part and that her clones have them so it becomes more difficult to defeat her

    In Super Mario 3D land for the 3DS whenever Pom Pom is hit, she goes into her shell and flys directly above Mario to fall down from above, trying to damage him. It would be cool if Pom Pom could have that feature if for example wings were put on her. You could also make her break brick blocks when she's crushing down in her shell, that would add a new interesting mechanic. If she is out of her shell she would jump like in SMM2 when she's throwing her shuriken and still teleport around if she doesn't get hit.

    I have some ideas for the game, i hope u ser it!
    1- add an super world maker like mario maker 2, but you have unlimited space for the world, and you have unlimited course limits.
    2- background decorations, they are decorations that are in the background, like an big shell in the background, talking about them!
    3- on & off big shell, its an shell that have an on & off Block in then, the normal form have an spike, when its off, have no spike
    4- water fall semi solid, its an water fall, for the background, yeah.
    5- water/lava/poison in every level, you can put water/lava/poison in every level style you want, y e a h
    6- 3d world exclusives in every style
    New ideas I have
    1- the revolving plataforms of the new super mario bros franchise
    2-that semisolids that go up and down from nsmb too
    3- level style on level types, like, choose a castle, and put beach too, so, you have a beach castle, from nsmb too
    4- mineshaft level, its, uhh, *a mineshaft*
    5- backgrounds for a style in other styles, like, the NSMB overworld background in super mario bros style
    6- big, really, REALLY big water/poison/lava beach things(forgot the name)

      I definitely agree, @MarioAndSonix! That would be an awesome idea! Maybe there can be a toggle for both Boom Boom and Pom Pom to switch their behaviors. For instance, there could be a toggle with Boom Boom to either keep his behaviors in Super Mario Bros. 3, or replicate his behaviors in New Super Mario Bros. U where he jumps around. There could even be an option to give him his behaviors in Super Mario 3D Land and 3D World, in which he spins around, goes invisible, clones himself, or creates a fire trail, etc. The same could apply with Pom Pom, where the player could choose to either keep her behaviors in Super Mario 3D World (where she teleports, clones herself and throws shurikens,) or change her behaviors to how it was in Super Mario 3D Land (where she jumps around and throws shurikens, trying to attack and crush the player with her shell when she gets hit.) Maybe there could also be similar options for each of the Koopalings, too!

    In 3d land, Pom-Pom goes into her shell when hit and attempts to float over Mario and kind of ground bound on to Mario, you can find it on yt if you don’t understand my scum description lol. With that shell sprite, I would be cool for Boom-Boom to have a shell attack as well, if you plan to have Bosses to have customizable move sets in the future anyways.

    0:58 fun fact: the "reversed" Fireballs are actually regular fireballs, the fireballs Bowser uses in SMB1 are the reversed ones. At least that's what I heard (and that honestly makes sense)

    I think you should add a little knockback to the bosses, just like in SMM2, so the player cannot just tank it and skip the whole battle if it is, for example, a classic Bowser battle with the bridge and the axe
    lso, it would be absolutely great if you made a Bowser Jr variant wearing the mask that acts just like in NSMBDS, hiding in his shell when a player is above him and throwing koopa shells to attack him

    I have an idea for once your ready to add themes
    Everyone wants a beach theme right? So why not split the beach and the water, top half us beach and bottom is water so we can block off the other if we don't want it, or keep it open the switch it without use of a pipe.
    Saves space and gives us a cool transition between the two!

    Pom-pom shell idea: she now has a final stage where there's now 5 shells coming directly for mario. Mario must stomp on the one with a slight bit of pom-poms face peeking out to finally finish off the boss. Stomping on any other one damages mario.

    I have a few boss suggestions for super smashy maker! Before i start i have a small suggestion as an option for (mini)mini-bosses.
    It'd be cool if you could set an option for certain bosses to 'die' after one hit, but instead of dying, they simply jump of screen, or in pom-pom's case, teleport away, like they're just retreating, and they'll come back to fight Mario again at the end of the stage.
    Here's the first boss suggestion: a mega wiggler. It would be green with orange spots, and an orange nose, resembling the wiggles from super Mario sunshine. Each segment would be the size of 4 tiles, and i think 6 segments would be fine for this boss. It would start out stomping across the screen at a slow pace, and one of it's segments would be red. You'd have to jump on the red segment to hurt it. Once you jump on the red segment you get bounced off towards the left or right, and it jumps up a bit, and stomps, causing Mario to get frozen if he doesn't jump. Then it moves on to phase two, where the red segment moves to a different spot, and the mega wiggler stomps around faster, and it's harder to dodge. Each time you stomp on it, it gets faster until the 3rd hit, where you get bounced off, and the wiggler explodes, making it's segments fly off screen, like dry bowsers shell!

    I think it would be interesting to make a version of Pom Pom like her 3D Land debut, where she throws boomerangs and tracks Mario with her shell rather than teleporting and making clones.

    I think what you could do is have Pom Pom's shell animation from her battle debut in 3D Land where she spins, and jumps in the air to try, and crush Mario while she's still inside her shell! :) That's the one move I wish that was kept from her 3D Land fight.

    in 3d world, pom pom's clones actually look different than the original, the original has the two green beads in her hair, while her clones do not. I would recommend changing the clones sprites to reflect this missing element.

    I feel like giving both Dry Bowsers a setting to only throw a lot of bones (say, a spread of three or four) would give them a lot more versatility for boss design, because you could easily have them out of bounds launching bones, or just use it to distinguish them more from their normal variants.
    also, Pom Pom's bowtie is not present on the clones (tbf no one notices that)

    you could give pom pom her super mario 3d land power where she jumps above the player and then slams down and that a couple of times. This happens when she gets hit. Also you should make a new power up. Maby some kind of lightning power up dropped by the lakithunder

    I think that for Dry Bowser (and Dry Bowser Jr.) you should add some more bones falling when they die. Look at the dry bones from SMM2 after you kill them, and you’ll see what I mean.
    I also think Jr’s ground pound should make the screen shake, and a stun animation should be given to Mario.

    The shell for palm, palm idea. It was in super Mario 3-D land and she basically just bounce around one time when she’s not hit the increases by one more hits and when she has one more hit, she’ll bounce five times just to let you know so that’s what you can do with the shell for pom-pom

    Dry Bowser (jr.) is really cool!
    Though, are they invincible to fire? And what about the fire-wall attack?
    Pom pom went into her shell in 3 land and tried crushing mario by smashin her shell into the ground like a groundpound. Afterwards she'd clone herself.

    After you hit it, pom pom could make a shell dash at you (without turning around) and teleport.

    I have an idea for a boss fight using a Mario kart tour character Gold Dry Bowser
    Attacks:
    Gold Fire (Acts like the golden fire flower in NSMB2 including turning bricks into coins)
    Gold Bones (Just Like Regular bones but get thrown faster)
    Finally a Ground Pound Attack just like smb3 I decided this attack because gold is heavy (🤯)
    (Might add more ideas to this comment)
    A Yoshi Boss Fight
    Moves:
    Stampede Pretty Mush Yoshi's Final Smash (insert fact that Yoshi's Final Smash was based off the Smash Melee intro) but less powerful and less Yoshi's
    Egg throw
    An Extra Long Flutter Jump ( Based of the blue shell Yoshi eats)
    Super Ground Pound ( Based on the Yellow Shell Yoshi Eats
    Fire (Based of the Red shell Yoshi eats)

    Well... for how to use Pom Pom's shell you could take some inspiration from her appearance in Super Marii 3D Land where, after she is hit, she goes into her shell and flies over the stage, persecuting Mario, rhythmically slamming her shell against the ground in an attempt to hit Mario.

    I would like it if you added In different course styles like desert, sky, underground, haunted house, castle, airship, underwater, forest/jungle and snow.
    You could also add in styles that haven't been added in yet to Mario maker such as tropical, volcanic, mountain, haunted house outside and different types of under ground themes too.

    Two bugs I found intresting: That wall of fire "attack" bowser did is actually a really cool idea, if you could make some sort of wall of fire that you have to jump over that would be cool! Also when dry bowser was spinning the bone but didnt throw it, I thaught that was intentional, and he was twirling the bone to let you know hes about to throw it, it would also be cool if you could implement something like that. And if you think thats too much I had an idea where you can toggle which attacks each enemy has, so you can use that unused pom pom spinning sprite just as a toggleable attack, and creaters get even more options and customization to their levels and the enemys they put in them.

    Maybe for the pom pom shell attack, you could make her clones jump in shell form when mario tries to jump on them.

    It would be cool if when Pom Pom went into her shell she teleported around instead of slowly turning around like Bowser Jr and the koopalings

    Maybe add koopa troopa versions like the blue koopa which would be a boss that does blue shell thing and when it dies does Mario kart style

    You could make a second pom pom, the one from 3d land, where she throws a boomerang, waits, jumps to another place, then repeats until stomped on, and when she is stomped on, use her shell and make it glide through the air then slam down on mario like it does in game

    Dry-Bowser Jr. could be real but Nintendo doesn't want to *kill* a *child* . That's why there's only Dry-Bowser.
    Edit: Things you guys could add:
    Koopa Car
    Note Block
    Blue Shell (the power-up one)
    Boomerang Flower
    Ice Flower
    Spike Helmet Goombas (like in Paper Mario)
    Luigi, Toad and Toadette playable (maybe even Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Wario and WAHluigi!)
    The Mega Goomba boss from NSMB
    And the Clear Pipes from 3D World!

    You should add P-Switch functionality to ?-Blocks, so that you can only hit them if a P-Switch is either on or off, depending on what the builder wants, and do the same with On/Off blocks. And make blue coins that appear when a P-Switch is activated.
    Edit: also Pom-pom clones shouldn't have a scrunchie.
    Edit 2: If I make the sprites, how should I get them to you?
    Edit 3: Sprites made, how should I get them to you?

    0:59 honestly, Bowser’s fire in SMB1 looks better reversed as the back of the fire shot actually looks like it’s supposed to be the front but the sprite ended up facing the other way and Nintendo just decided to say “eh” and leave it as is

    PomPom is in her shell in Super Mario 3D Land, so you could try recreating her movements from that game for maybe a winged variant.
