My family and I really love you and your work❤️❤️❤️.... we felt relieved just by seeing your videos ❤️.... especially my Grandmother, she is your biggest fan and during evening time, she will always tell us to open your channel just to see your flower gardens...❤️❤️❤️ Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life....❣️ with lots of love 💕💕💕 from Shillong, Meghalaya, India.
Whole cloves and cinnamon sticks would make it alot nicer. Somehow all the orange slices is missing something! The ribbon color is not festive, looks more for spring or summer. But it looks nice.
I love the wreath too! Simple and clean looking..doesn't have to be all blinged out for the holidays or have a scent to it such as flowers or clove (which some of us actually do like.) It looks perfect the way it is. It has festive appeal if its hung in a place where it visually ties into the holiday theme. I love that it lasts a long time.
There’s something about wreaths over mirrors - it reminds me of our home on the farm. It’s simple, vintage antique-ish, and very classic. Absolutely, looks perfect 🤩🧡
Wow! The sage and orange is Stunning. I want to hang it in front of a window for the "stained glass" effect to show. I had to use about 11 oranges to ensure the slices were around the same size like she did and there was enough to cut in half and fill out the outer and inner borders underneath. Sliced them approx 1/8"- 1/4" thickness with a knife I kept resharpening to avoid asymmetrical slices. If your knife is dull (acid dulls a knife) then you'll "push" the knife through and they can become misshapened. Take your time, it's meditative... I set them on my gas oven racks the night before then dried them on WARM below 200°F - - slowly. They were even in color, my oven is over 20 yrs old. Checking in to not overdry them. I'm adding a few drops of tangerine/sweet orange essential oils when it's completed because it's such an uplifting scent. Happy 2021! Loved this and the whole family! 🤗🌹🙏
Oh, my goodness!! I absolutely love this wreath! I've been a professional wreath maker since 2014, and I've never made a dried orange wreath! Well, thanks to you, I'm going to make one or two or three this year. I wish I had a dehydrator, though. Hmmm? Maybe that'll be my own Christmas present? You are a gem, and your parents should be congratulated. I hope our son finds a wonderful person like you to marry some day. Merry Christmas to you and yours. :)
I just watched another person making a planter arrangement for sitting next to the front door, & they were using scissors instead of shears (didn't work), & it made watching the video aggravating - turned it off. All that to say how much I appreciate you, Laura, ALWAYS having the proper tools ready to use, which makes it so enjoyable to watch your videos. Great job!! Thanks!!
In the Spring, I will make this and hang it in my kitchen. I would like to make a wreath from dried lemon's. Right now in my grocery store, 1- lemon is $.98..Hope the prices go down. Thanks for sharing a great idea.
I JUST realized a vibe I had been catching a real;y loving with everything this year. Old School Original Martha Stewart Living Magazine and Show. Very early, "its a good thing." But its better because it doesnt matter if I failed or something isnt perfect. HUGE! I'm going to order a dehydrator just to dehydate lemons and make them in like three different fruits for spring and summer.
I dried mine in the oven. It took about 3 hours ( flipping the slices every half hour). But, they turned a bit darker in color. I wish I had a dehydrator because I like how yours held their orange color. Beautiful wreath!
You can do them naturally also. Lay them out on a rack and turn them daily until dry. Put them in a sunny spot outdoor or indoors. Cover them with cheese cloth if you put them outdoors so nothing gets to them. It takes a bit of planning ahead but you get more even color like her dryer.
Laura, how long will that hot glue last? As a craftier, most hot glue is for temp holds - so I usually use E6000 - which takes longer to cure - but last longer - will E6000 work or maybe not? I agree with another comment on this video - every thing you touch is GOLD. Thanks!
So beautiful! I would hesitate to do this myself, though, not because it is hard to do or because it is expensive, but I have a hard time taking good food and making it into home decor. But that's just me.
I saw you dehydrating on FB yesterday and it got me going. Company just left and now it’s my turn to see what I can do with the oranges I bought. You always inspire me. It looks beautiful hanging on your mirror. Great idea. God bless. 👏🏻💕👏🏻
So pretty. When you held it up and the light was shining behind, I thought how neat that would look in a window. You could just add orange slices on the back as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
I dried oranges, lemons and limes in my oven last week on 170 degrees and they all look brownish. Yours stayed such a beautiful orange! I need a dehydrator!!!
Coffee with Laura and a fun project is a good way to start the day for sure. I like how simple this is and I bet it smells wonderful too. This would be a fun project with my classroom so will have to see if I can get stuff together for it! Thanks for the inspiration!
What a great project!!! I'll bet it smells great in the house while the orange slices are dehydrating. I have a large bowl of oranges here too. Think I'll try it today! Thank you Laura. Your videos are ALWAYS a treat!
Love it! I love how the light shone through when you first held it up! Wondering if it can be hung outside for the birds when it's done as a decoration?
That wreath is lovely! As you were working on it, I wondered about making a mixed citrus wreath - oranges, grapefruit, lemons, limes, blood oranges, etc. - especially for spring and summer. Well done!
This is perfectly timed! I put some grapefruit, lemons and limes in my air fryer yesterday and hadn’t decided what to do with them. It’s my first time dehydrating and it’s a learning experience for sure! I’ve done 11 hours at 130° and had to put back in this morning for a couple hours more. I did bump up to 145° this morning. The house smells AMAZING! Your wreath is beautiful!
Loved this tutorial too. I noticed that I appreciate and learn a lot from your videos and Laura Eubanks videos but I rarely take time to thank you. Thank you very much for all the efforts you and your husband make to make these videos. Your videos are extremely helpful, tremendously inspiring and very entertaining. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas Lots of love from Morocco
That is a beautiful wreath! My dehydrator died a few years ago, I need to do my homework & possibly get a new one! Really simple steps to follow, a quick & easy craft! 😃🍊🎄🎅
Such a beautiful wreath! For all of you wishing you had a dehydrator I just want you to know you can also air dry oranges. I feel the colour stays more orange this way. I have also dried them in the oven but feel the colour is often more brown than orange.
Beautiful! Definitely doing this. Also if anyone was considering lemons just know they dry blackish/purple in color, so you may or may not want to do that. I personally don’t mind it and also use them in my decor.
So pretty! And I learned a different way to make a bow. 🙋🏻♀️ I had to slow the video way down to figure it out. The bow comes out very symmetrical your way. Thanks 😊
Thank you for all the inspiration! I’m so happy that I found you here on TH-cam to bring such a joy every day. I start my day with a cup of coffee and your vlog (time difference makes your vlog posts in the middle of the night) and I have so many to catch up with you guys. ❤️
How about a dried apple one next year. I will be making smaller ones for my kitchen to hang on the doors to the pantry or cabinets. What a good tutorial. Thanks and
Laura, you’re so creative / inventive ...... beautiful wreath! I love when you said: ooo , it’s so easy to make it....and I’m like : sure , if we all have your hands and the talent ....yeah ! Happy holidays beautiful family!🤶☃️🎅🏻
I made one today Laura and it looks pretty good. Not as good as yours but it will do. I have to buy two more oranges at least to balance mine out but I love it! Thank you for the inspiration.
I also think it would be really cool if there was a DIY Laura channel! I would definitely go to it for inspiration and ideas ! I know you will be busy with the new baby and Benjamin but maybe in the future!
I think the color is perfect for the fall to holiday season and I can just imagine how sweetly your house smelled during the dehydration process. Although most of my citrus in the garden have a defined season, I do have an everbearing Tahitian lime that I could use right now. Blood oranges would be an interesting look perhaps for Halloween next year. Cheers!
🍊🎄❤️ I love it. So pretty and easy to make. Fun & festive! Thanks for all the inspiration you give us! You can spray it with orange essential to keep the smell longer.
Laura, you did another OUTSTANDING JOB☆☆☆☆☆ You are A Beautiful Pregnant Lady♡♡♡ We Wish y'all A Merry Christmas and A Blessed New Year ♡♡♡GOD BLESS EVERYONE ♡♡♡ We Love y'all so very much ♡♡♡
The color of the ribbon looks gorgeous with the oranges. Makes me think that you could put some eucalyptus on the wreath itself as well if you're not into monochromatic color schemes.
Awesome. I am trying 2 smaller versions today. Cross my fingers....haha My oven is 6 years old and doesn't have dehydrator on it; checked the manual. Depends on versions.
As a floral designer. Standing ovation. Love this wreath.
When the light shone through it like Stained glass. Perfecto! Bellissima! I’m not sure why it made me feel Italian.
It made me think of limoncello lol. The Italians know what to do with citrus!
@@gabrielag9846 it’s not Christmas without lemon bars! Laura has a lemon tree! We should ask her to do some!😂🎅🎄🍋🍋🍋🍋
Yesss‼️‼️ Bellissima ‼️‼️🤗🤗🍋🍋🍋😘😘
I forgot the name of the guy who is helping with editing, but I really have enjoyed his music selections. It really adds to the viewing experience for me. So thank you. 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
His name is Ken. Although you never know if it is Aaron editing. He still gets hands on in the process.
Well shoot! I thought I was finished with my decorations......gotta get a bag of oranges now🤷♀️😊
Me too. LOL! I wonder how many oranges she used?
I just had the same thought 😂
I was thinking exactly same things hahhaha
Yep. Going to have to do this now.
Ahahahaha, hilarious 🤣
So true!!

Wondering how I missed this video 🤪good thing Ken brought it up. Going to try this 😍
I bet that there is still an aroma of orange coming from that wreath, for a little while anyway ... its beautiful 😍
Fun fact! Most ovens have a secret setting for dehydration. The manual will show code combinations
Oh wow I never new ! Thanks!
I am going to try that! Now to find the manual.....
Manual? 😂🤣
You can just put them in the oven at 200 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Check them during the last hour to make sure they don’t get too brown.
Cool! Because not everyone has a dehydrator.
I love the way the sunlight showed through when you held it up!
a couple years ago you inspired me to dehydrate some orange slices that had been soaking in a sangria all night and I still have them lol
Almost a blood orange look? Sounds pretty!
Yeah that's exactly what they looked like =)
Love the wreath! You could add some whole cloves for scent and texture
Not a fan of the aroma of cloves....at all. But, to each their own.
Whole cloves and cinnamon sticks would make it alot nicer. Somehow all the orange slices is missing something! The ribbon color is not festive, looks more for spring or summer. But it looks nice.

I love that it lasts a long time.
The wreath is beautiful! But I think it would look nice hanging up near a window so the light can so through outside pieces of the Orange slices
JEN
I agree. But the back side facing out would have to be prettied up. More orange slices??
There is light reflecting from the mirror too!
@@pamelakelley4266 The corner in the mirror looks pretty dark to me.
Can you do a winter tour of your parents’ garden? I’m curious to see what their garden is looking like these days.

I have a bunch of leftover apples that aren’t really good for eating, SO I am following your wreath, but making it out of Apples !!
I love it! I'm seriously sitting here making dried orange ornaments and this video popped up! Merry Christmas!
I finally have enough oranges to do this! Was further inspired by the recent picture of the wreath hanging on her inside mirror. Perfectly lovely.
Perfect shade of green in the ribbon! Great choice! This would be beautiful with blood oranges as well.
Lavender with Orange and/or Lemon slices would be lovely for Easter.
I just watched another person making a planter arrangement for sitting next to the front door, & they were using scissors instead of shears (didn't work), & it made watching the video aggravating - turned it off. That wreath is so,so simple and gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing this craft.
How many oranges did that take? So beautiful and vibrant, looks like a fun activity to do with my mom over the holidays at home
This is my question as well! Really stunning, need to make one.
I was wondering too. 🍊
Laura showed a pic the other day of Benjamin sitting with the box of oranges (super cute) and it was a farely standard size box of oranges.
I thought she said it took 8 medium oranges. I just love the stained-glass effect! I think I’m going to have to make one!💚🎄🍊
I read on her FB page she thinks this one took 10-11 oranges.
It looked so pretty in your sun room with the light shining through it.
Well now I have to go buy ORANGES!! Thanks Laura!!! 😍
✨
I LOVE it!! That is a PERFECT place for it on that mirror!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

Classic is the best! People used to decorate trees with dried fruits.
I want to try to make one this year, for my niece. Besides doing crafts, wreaths and more, this natural wreath looks really simple yet elegant....👌🍊

Now that is special! Love the simplicity and the color is outstanding. Love the color of the ribbon. Definitely an A plus.
Wow, i loved the look even more when i saw the sun shine through it. Wondering if i could do it on both sides ???
Maybe cut a circle our of a clear storage bin?
Why not? Just add oranges to the cardboard on the back. Great idea!😊
That would be nice with pink and white grapefruits on the kitchen wall for my home. Nice project.
My dehydrator is running with beautiful bright orange slices inside right now. I'm making this tomorrow! Thank you for the idea Laura ❤
Good afternoon from Zimbabwe. Love your videos.
Your frame has a similar green on it as does your ribbon. Really pretty. 🥰

So simple and beautiful, Laura! 😊💚Love the touch of green ribbon. You inspired me to make orange and clove pomanders for my neighbors this year.
You are like a shot of instant sunshine! And love the music! You go sunshine girl! ❤️
I just made a ton of dehydrated orange slices to use as potpourri! I think this is a better use of them. 😍
