Yes, congratulations! I totally admire what you're doing...and I know this kind of mood you get into when you're walking on roads for a long time - "fatigue" describes it exactly...

I know it’s a few years ago, and all the trouble we’ve been through since, but I really liked finding this video. Lovely mad editing in places I’ve walked. Thanks for the effort.

+Carolyn O'Dwyer but thumbs down for totally failing to remember the name of the scientist the rocket equation is named for and giving up and going to von Braun, such a cop-out.

The Sligo Way was one of the trails we walked in our first year, and we were still learning how to film - and felt very awkward filming in towns! Something we’re planning on including more in the future ☺️

Another trail covered! Just a suggestion - maybe a water filter would help lighten your loads a little on the longer sections? You are passing plenty of the stuff and it's there for free!

+Peter Clarke we must look into it, would save us a couple of KGs. I've heard good things about life straws ...

(Bit late I know) In general I'd be wary of a lot of filters and water purification methods intended for American hikers, because of how many sheep are in Ireland. Bog water, as well as being dirty, often contains large amounts of sheep droppings, which you obviously don't want to consume.

@@jomartyn8789 You may be right. I would only filter water from fast flowing streams away from human occupation. The Sawyer filters will remove most impurities except viruses which (in general) are very short lived. I guess the current situation may have changed that conclusion.
