On Discord, you said this was for new/lapsed player. I'm an active player and actually learned quite a bit from this!
I'm sure I speak for so many people here in saying - this is a MUST have for any Runescape player! Coming back from Old School and starting to really get back into the game, the most daunting task is this. Super interesting that everything is fully customizable, but it's just that - fully custom. Not anything that we can just click to change default layouts and settings to perfect presets. It's all done manually. To have a video like this to follow along to was simply perfect. NOW I can start truly playing! :D
Thanks for taking the time on this. As a returning player and losing my old interface, this was exactly what I needed. Watched from start to finish and made sure to save my new UI. Cheers! 🍻
I'm almost maxed on OSRS, and several times over the last 5-6 years I've wanted to check out RS3 again. I always logout the second I see the UI. Thank you for this video, it's exactly what I needed to dive into RS3 as a "beginner".

It was also hard to understand a lot of your screen at first when watching pvm content, because it looked like you action was a giant book. Now I have my own and I can actually understand what I am looking at. Thank you!
I spent literally hours hacking together something that tries, yet fails to be remotely this clean. In that time I didnt find even half of these features. I can finally move the buff and debuff bar out of the space I want my action bars, which are currently built around that area. Legend!

Fantastic guide! I would love to use something similar to your interface but I mainly play on a laptop and the interface scaling comes at the cost of text resolution (yes I can increase the font size but that doesn't make it any less fuzzy and wrong looking), among other problems. I really hope that some time in the near future Jagex gives the interface customization some love and makes it less of a mess to deal with. They should take inspiration from WoWs recent UI customization update and include a bunch of nice QoL features like grid lines, import/export functionality, proper interface scaling, etc. Necromancy and the combat changes they're working towards are amazing, but leaving the already neglected UI to continue gathering dust would be a huge mistake.
Great video, been playing for 4 years and copied yours exactly. need to re build my open bars. One thing to point out is that you dont need the adventures, customizations, etc on the top left. Easy to get to with FN key and numbers 1 through 7. Also available if you press "esc"

Something worth mentioning is if u scale ur interface, u might encounter problems with alt1, as it wont be able to recognize images correctly, e.a. buff bar, potions, etc
Something also worth mentioning how to download is the Alt 1 NyusNecroJobGuage plugin that he has shown and talked about a lot. The thing is, Alt 1nonbasee plugins are not exactly "user friendly" to get working, or even find (case in point, that name is impossible to remember, much less stumble upon). He (to my knowledge) has never explained how to download this very useful necro tool he has talked so much about. I had to spend about 3 hrs troubleshooting how to get it working because I had a "failure to detect home teleport" error. The usual fixes (updated drivers, small buff icons, 100% interface size, Nvidia interface size selector set to off/application chooses) didn't work. I imagine most people look at everything I just said and have no idea what any of it means. All of it is important for getting Alt 1 to actually work. Btw my issue was solved by changing a property of the RS3 launcher that also causes your game interface to get super blurry, which had its own fix via some in-game graphical adjustments. The point is Alt 1 needs a great guide and doesn't have one.
