Guards Brigade launches Exercise Enduring Peace to curb crime in the FCT
The Acting Commander of the Guards Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Colonel Adebisi Olusegun Onasanya, has issued a stern warning against criminal activities within the Brigade's areas of responsibility.
Colonel Onasanya, gave the warning while flagging off Exercise Enduring Peace 2023 at the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
The primary objective of this exercise is to ensure the safety and protection of law-abiding citizens residing in the Federal Capital Territory and its surroundings during the holiday season and beyond.
Colonel Onasanya stressed that no part of the Brigade's areas of responsibility should ever become a sanctuary for criminals and those who support them. Criminal elements.
Furthermore, Colonel Onasanya expressed his appreciation for the Joint Vigilante task force, the troops under his command, and other sister security agencies for their effective collaboration in maintaining law and order.
The participating troops were drawn from the brigade's regiments as well as the Nigerian police, and other security agencies.
