One of my favorite comic pages was Mr Majestic sitting in a chair mentally and physically exhausted. He says that he constantly hears people from across the globe cry for help all at once and it never stops. I never saw anything like that in a comic especially when it came to a Superman type hero.
Yeah, he kind of is but then again, you could technically say that about most of the Superman analogues out there in pop culture. I always say that DC Comics should be flattered that so many people have ripped off Superman( and continue to do so to this day and even Mr.Majestic and the rest of the Wildstorm Universe are now part of the larger DC Comics Universe ever since Jim Lee sold Wildstorm to DC , anyway). For independent comic books that I want to do in the future, I even came up with a rip-off OF Mr.Majestic( as a rip-off, himself) called Eminence who will be a member of a 1990s- style Super Hero group called The New Breed( who is more like a mashed-up amalgam of Youngblood, Cyber-Force and WildC.A.T.S.) and The New Breed will be part of my comic book universe and all of the characters in the group will be killed off in a story that I have planned and made into public domain characters for people to use however they want to( since for characters dying in comic books, instead of them coming back from the dead over and over again, I feel like dead should mean dead and gone forever). I do like Mr. Majestic as a Superman knockoff and he is one of my favorite Superman knockoffs but he was still never anything particularly special as a character- and even more so now that he is in the DC Universe.
Could we say this was one of the reasons behind the creation of Omni-Man? Just my assumption. The world of escapism and character creation is overlapping. Was a fun character.
I have the trade paperback where Captain Atom fought the WildCats. Honestly if Captain Atom let loose, he could take out a huge swathe of DCU heroes and villains... before being taken down HARD by telepaths and magic users.
Actually Superman himself already admitted in the Superman vs Lobo Black Label comic that Majestic is stronger than him not by much but he is. But I think that got redcon with the power boost Superman got at the end of the Warworld story arc after all in the new Wildcats comic Majestic got beat up by superman very easily and has been portrayed as a wimp in comparison to the original, in fact i'm begin to think that he's not the original majestic and is actually a clone of the original like the new Caitlin Fairchild.
Problem with that statement is that superman has a tendency to hype people up, captain atom who fought both said superman was stronger, and majestic himself said they are equal, even though he has no reason to. I have no problem with majestic being stronger than superman, rather like it, actually, just that there’s not a terribly strong case for it. I believe that, much like Shazam, majestros is equal but he’s way more battle hardened, giving him the edge, he’s essentially Wonder Woman plus superman, which I like.

Too bad that version of Mr Majestic doesn't exist anymore and the version we have now in the wildcats comics is kind of lame and got beat by Superman fairly easily. But I don't think it would matter anymore after all Superman got a huge power boost after the events of the warwold saga.
@@ricky865 I know what he said, but majestic right before said that they’re equals, and superman has a track record for saying that other people are stronger, I just wish there wasn’t so many conflicting statements, another point to make was that majestro was enraged, so he simply stopped holding back, whereas superman was still holding back. We saw in the injustice movie how much superman holds back, when he beats another superman even worse than majestros
