    I have had my 15.6 pro for about a year now and I LOVE it so much. That wheel has been a life saver for zooming in and out. For those of you worried about the price, the company is always doing sales. I bought mine for almost half the price :)

    I have a question. What tablet would you recommend for a complete beginner? (I have been doing a traditional art for over a year, and now I finally wanna start drawing digitally)

      I wouldn't trust anything from a Chinese company. Wacom has the Bamboo as their amateur tablet, but it doesn't have a screen.

    The pressure sensitivity is not awful. As you said, you need to invest a lot of time with the calibration and settings... I must've gone back to recalibrating it like half a dozen times before I was happy with it. The real problem with the pen is the physical structure, not software. The activation point of the pen is way too weak. This really isn't the best tablet for sketching. Unless of course you can get used to it well enough or gained the muscle memory.
    All in all, good review. Great job on the piece too. Makes me feel better about owning this product.

    Out of curiosity what kind of wacom cintiq do you have??? I am thinking of upgrading from my outdated 13hd cintiq due to the colors not matching up well and it being old.

    • @CosmicSpectrumArt
      @CosmicSpectrumArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a Cintiq22HD. The colours actually don't match up exactly for me either, but it's never really been an issue since it's a really slight hue difference and printers do that anyway. I love the huge screen, I honestly can never go back hahah. Although my wallet STILL weeps about it.

    the pen would be a problem for me, looks way too thick for my death grip and bendy fingers lol

    • @CosmicSpectrumArt
      @CosmicSpectrumArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah... Before i discovered that wacom had thinner pens available for purchase, I used to skin the default pen by removing the rubber part LOL. It's so stupid, I don't understand why they make them so friggin thick

    • @Miatochan
      @Miatochan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CosmicSpectrumArt Here's just my personal observation. Maybe it's because it's made for bigger hands. I'm pretty sure Wacom goes to companies that buy their tablets in bulk to check who use them and how, and most of the artists in those places tend to be men, which usually have bigger hands, but understanding that there's a need and demand for it, they also make a smaller pen. Then the other tablet manufacturers just look up to them to follow their lead and just don't invest the same time and money in ergonomics, research and development, so they don't know or care that they could develop and sell a thinner pen, and just offer the standard thick one.
      BTW, I know for a fact that the thick pen also helps people that cramp easily because of sustained strain and hand injuries. I know of several peeps that put rubber grips on everything after getting carpal tunnel syndrome. But back at the whole big hand thing, most of my male colleagues and friends love the regular stylus size.
      Personally, I don't particularly hate it because my hands are kinda big, but I'm so used to pencils that I tend to grip mine too hard at times and end up straining my arm after a long drawing session, so I'm looking into the thin wacom pen too.

    Huion or xppens 15.6 inch? I assume its based on preference since theyre practically identical.

    • @americanpsycho3689
      @americanpsycho3689 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know this is old, but-
      If you ask me, avoid Huion. They have a lagging pressure sensitivity issue with their newer tablets. Like the pen will square off instead of making a circle. And when I contacted them abt the issue, they said nithing was wring even though the issue was completely visible.

    Before I had a tablet without a screen and for the pen to have more speed I would put 0% smoothness on the brush in Photoshop, but in this graphic tablet the pen is very slow, I can configure the speed but not the speed, please helpme u.u

      You'll get one eventually, most people don't get theirs until they're older teens or adults anyway, unless their parents are rich or something.
