The Buddy Backpack by Sewing Patterns by Mrs H - Full Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to sew The Buddy Backpack by Sewing Patterns by Mrs H, the March 2024 Bag of the Month Club Pattern, and share some tips and tricks. This pattern is ONLY available in the current Bag of the Month Club season, meaning you need to purchase this season to get this pattern. The Bag of the Month Club link is under where to find the pattern and supplies I use. This tutorial is filmed like a sew along. If you don't want to watch the part where I sew or am doing other things, you can always fast forward or adjust the speed of the video so it is faster. However, there are times I give tips and tricks while sewing. I figured filling in some of those moments with helpful information makes it appealing to watch.
IMPORTANT - I apologize that the sound in the beginning in different than halfway through. I don't know why my microphone did this.
To note: I do not give any measurements, show pattern pieces or use any measuring tools on camera in any tutorials I film. This is for the protection of the pattern/designer and because I often film tutorials during testing, and measurements or other things can change. So, to ensure the tutorials are accurate and match the pattern, this information is not mentioned. You will need to have your pattern open on another device, printed, or open on your computer to follow along with each step and be able to refer to measurements or seam allowances given. If you have the video open on your computer and want the PDF on your computer, you can minimize this TH-cam video and move it to a corner of your screen.

I sewed this on a Juki TL-2200 QVP Mini and used a 100/16 needle. For the exterior, I used quilting cotton and Moonglow Vinyl, and for the lining I used quilting cotton. For threads, I used Gutermann All Purpose thread. You'll want to use materials, needles and threads that work best for your machine.
