Unfortunately, you can not use that. It needs to be the pvc mesh. You can use a clear or tpu vinyl, if you'd rather. 😊

As I mention in the video, I film during testing. This means that often times things can change, including seam allowances. So, I do not give those or any other information, including showing pattern pieces. This way if something does change, my tutorials are not affected. For that reason and to protect the designers (they actually also request that I give/share no pattern information) I will never give this information away. Also, yes, I speak fast, unfortunately I can't change that, it's how I've been my whole life. However, because these tutorials are long, I don't want to spend a lot of time talking. You can use the option on TH-cam to slow down the tutorial or speed it up so it is at a pace you like. 😃

Awww, thank you so much! After Buddy passed away, it was hard to film tutorials. I've also had some health issues arise and needed to take care of myself. I'm slowly getting back into things, but may not film as many as I used to because it's very hard on me. I'll still film as many as I can though. 😃❤️

Tex 70 is for industrial machines, and some domestic machines have a hard time with this thread.

@@mgrahamsews Oh wonderful! I bought Coats Upholstery thread (which is Tex 70) and I wondered if the Tex 45 would be strong enough. My domestic machine (Husqvarna Optima 630) doesn't seem to struggle with Tex 70, but next time I buy thread, I will buy Tex 45. Thank you for your help!

I'm sorry about the ads. However, I have ZERO control over this. This is a TH-cam thing, not something I do or add, and trust me, if I could I would NOT have them. In terms of money, I make ZERO dollars off any of the tutorials I film. My channel is not monetized, I don't get paid from anyone or anything, I don't get supplies for free, I literally make nothing off filming these tutorials. I film all of my tutorials all for FREE. These tutorials take a lot of my time and money... Money out of my pocket and time from myself and my family. I film them because I was to share my love of sewing and my knowledge. I can't control the ads, how many ads there are, etc. Again, that is a TH-cam thing. TH-cam does have an option where you can have a paid subscription and you won't see any ads. This is the only way to avoid them. I know I watch videos and see ads, I just wait for the option to skip them, and continue on. I do that too. Everything has to be put away. I vacuum as much as I can, or my husband will for me, and clean my area every week, such as dusting and wiping tables. Then about every month, I do a good thorough clean, to reorganize my fabrics, bins, etc. I also take inventory of what I'm low on so I know what I need to order next. 😊

Over the years, because of my disability and arthritis, I've slowed down so much. ☹️ However, I do like to keep moving along when filming because I know tutorials can be long, so I try not to take too long on things, like pinning or folding straps.

Yes, when you topstitch the second side, start back on the same side you topstitched the first side. This means that you're going to backstitch when you get to the bottom of the first side, flip the strap over, go back up to the top, and start topstitching again. 😊
