I’m 48 and I come from Ireland. East 17 were highly underrated. In my opinion they were the best best pip group of the 90’s

There were good but the 80s were better the planet as been around billions off years I was fortunate to be a teenager off the 80s I was a young adult in the 90s but good music though teenage years blasting the tunes on old Amstrad tower system good old days never forget them ❤

I am 48 and come from Germany. From the beginning, I've been a fan of East 17. I have the albums Walthamstow, Steam, Up all Night and Around the World the Hit Singles, plus various maxi CDs. It's just a shame that the formation with Brian Harvey and Tony Mortimer no longer exists. Without them, it's no longer East17 for me.

I genuinely hadn't heard this since the 90s, even though I listen to "old" music a lot and wow, this is so 1994! The scenarios, the woman dressed like a perfume bottle, I love it!
I had forgotten the existence of this song. Listening to the radio, a distant memory of almost 3 decades returned.

They honoured Walthamstow looking back at it as so many have heard of East 17 because of them, but like most places with time it's not the same place now (at least not for me).. I moved away years ago and on the rare occasion I've past though it sadly doesn't feel like home anymore😢
I born 9 days before this track releases to the world. Thanks to mom and dad I grew up listening 70's, 80's and 90's songs and after that, I built my own preferences with the 2000's songs, proud of it ! Music these days are not good enough as the years I've mentioned.
Deep and Around the world are their best singles. Absolutely loved them as a kid, I'm nearly 35 😂 great music.

There are plenty of 90s boybands that are still cool (Take That, Boyz II Men, BSB etc.) - East 17 is not one of them.
Its da the boys from Walthamstow in ddaaaaa house of course they will still be cool! lol Put aside the whole "90s boyband" stigma, all their songs were written from the band members mainly Tony who had some insightful, spiritual and meaningful lyrics. i dont think i wouldve survived my teen years without them.

Am I the only one to notice that Tony was quite original with his body movements and gestures during rapping? He always did something interesting to accompany his rapping.

they were not brit pop lol. they were strictly boy band pop music, but nothing wrong with that! 90s was the the peak times for boy bands with east 17 and take that, both had great songs.
