How can i trigger PANNING with the trigger midi track? Do i need 2 trigger tracks ? ( envelope trigger and pan trigger? ) It is not explained anywhere !! It is explained incomprehensibly in the manual. ( sorry my english) Greetings from Germany.
@@PolyverseMusic - Any tips for doing this on a Group in Ableton? (eg, I want to use Gatekeeper to control the Filter knob of Ableton's Auto Filter, on a Group of Basses some are Audio Tracks some are MIDI tracks....). 8 CC Mapper can't be added to an Audio Track. What other options are there for adding Gatekeep's automation to a Live effect on a Group / Audio Bus?
Hi thanks for the clear video. I'm sending Program Changes to Gatekeeper with a MIDI knob set to CC #119 (as advised in the manual). It works when Gatekeeper is the only vst on the track but it won't receive if there's a synth on the same track. Is there a way around? (other than having Gatekeeper on an audio track and having a Midi track send #119 to it).
In Ableton once you create the Midi track with the CC #119 automation, after selecting your instrument track as the midi target in the "MIDI To" section of that track, you can change the midi destination from "Track in" to Gatekeeper. Thanks a lot. My synth was actually blocking the Midi indeed. I need to place Gatekeeper onto an other Midi track. I'm looking into this for live purposes where I can switch presets with a fader. @@PolyverseMusic
Ah thanks for the info. I was thinking they would be saved within the plugin, I was confused when my mappings were lost when recalling the plugin. Good to know! Thanks again @@PolyverseMusic
Hi. The Gatekeeper PDF manual includes the CUBASE setup example in the "How to connect MIDI out" section of the manual. polyversemusic.com/support/ Please contact support if this doesn't help: polyversemusic.com/contact-us/
You can accomplish this in FL Studio by routing your Gatekeeper MIDI channel to the receiving VST track, but make sure you are using the VST2 version of Gatekeeper (not VST3)! We have an FL Studio video coming very soon on this exact topic, so stay tuned!
wow not only is this a Gate its an LFO... just wow... bloody well done guys
Thank you for the positive feedback. Its also an Envelope generator :)

How do I control Abletons native devices with Gatekeepers CC outputs?
You can do this using M4L devices. Try the free 8 CC Mapper 1.0 , it should be perfect for that. www.maxforlive.com/library/device/7172/8-cc-mapper

Also wondering, is it possible to save the Midi mapping? The ones made with right click 'Auto Detect MIDIcc'
You can't save them as a preset, but they will save in your DAW project

No problem, good luck with your setup :)@@fumarolas

Hang on, you added Gatekeeper - which is an audio plugin - to a MIDI track? I'm on Cubase, can't do this.

So, is this routing feature available only on VST2 version? What about AU?
You should be good to go with AU!
Great! What about commutation in fl studio? Can you give some highlights, guys?)

I've given this comment a like but i don't believe you'll release a video explaining the process using FL Studio. Prove me wrong.
