I love watching this video over and over again -- seeing those actors and well known performers still alive and looking wonderful... Unfortunately most of them aren't with us any longer, but will continue living on through videos like this one.
I was very fortunate to have been there that night and it was TRULY AMAZING! some of the scenes had to be redone and the filming went on longer than expected. We certainly didn't mind at all watching it over again! I can not tell you how many of the stars I met at RCMH AND at the party afterwards at the HILTON! What a special night I will never forget!
I saw Michael Caine as Scrooge from "The Muppet Christmas Carol". I also saw Dabney Coleman on "The Muppets Take Manhattan", and Billy Crystal on "Muppets Tonight" Charles Durning from "The Muppet Movie" and "Elmo Saves Christmas", Jim Henson who use to perform Kermit the Frog and others, and of course, Mark Hamil, Jim Nabors, Tony Randall, Vincent Price, and Carol Burnett on "The Muppet Show". The Muppets are so wonderful and talented.
Not all of these men are actors:Marvin Hamlisch was a musician, songwriter and composer,Singer, musician and songwriter Rod McKeon and..Mr.Koch was the former Mayor Of NYC..and a damn embarrassment.
It's just sad that they don't make shows like this that much anymore. THOSE WERE REAL STARS!!!! TV today needs a "REALITY CHECK" and have a make over. It's sad what TV is anymore. Those were the days.
This is a special moment..featuring some talented men and one talented and beloved lady clown:Ms.Carol Burnett..something that we will never see again.
These Night of !00 Stars shows were well produced and very enjoyable. Just look at the luminaries who are part of this chorus line and no longer with us: Charles Bronson, Yul Brynner, Lloyd Bridges, Cab Calloway, Bob Fosse [ he probably could have directed and choreographed the whole show ] Charles Durning, Ben Gazzara, Jim Henson, Marvin Hamlisch, Rock Hudson, and so many others.
This didn't start from the beginning. I know there was a number with the rockettes before the stars came out and i know that the first was Mark Hammill.
Hi there... does anyone has "Night of 100 Stars" from 1990?!?! The Fashionshow in particular?!? Or does anyone know which song is playing during the fashionshow in 1990? I'm thankful for any hint... Thank you
Where's the Hollywood Legends segment in the 1985 Night of 100 stars? With Laurence Olivier, Lana Turner, Olivia deHavilland, Dustin Hoffman, Robert DeNiro and Robert Preston???
Studios stopped investing in actors careers, getting them training, acting lessons, singing lessons, dance lessons to make them well-rounded performers.
Featuring Matt Damon and others? And others??? Matt Damon was the very least of all these stars, and yet you mention only him in your description of this video! So ridiculous it's not even funny.
Yul Brynner so Handsome and a Great Actor. Such a nice video seeing all these Actors.
My crush 💋😘
We will NEVER have this calibre of legends ever again
Wow...REAL STARS!!! No trash, no man/boys, REAL MEN...REAL STARS. Nothing compares to them now...NOTHING.
I love watching this video over and over again -- seeing those actors and well known performers still alive and looking wonderful... Unfortunately most of them aren't with us any longer, but will continue living on through videos like this one.
One of them..isn't a performer..it's former NYC Mayor and damn embarrassment..Ed Koch.

Was this show before or after Dynasty ??
OMG! 2 of my fave TV & movie actors were next to each other: ROBERT WAGNER & ROBERT URICH!!! Love them so much!! TYVM!!
Both acted with the same women
Not all of these men are actors:Marvin Hamlisch was a musician, songwriter and composer,Singer, musician and songwriter Rod McKeon and..Mr.Koch was the former Mayor Of NYC..and a damn embarrassment.

This puts the wind up me I'm only 6 years younger than Matt Dillon who appeared in this.
Sorry, meant Matt Dillion in previous post, not Matt Damon!
They don't make stars like this anymore. What happened??????
Studios stopped investing in actors careers, getting them training, acting lessons, singing lessons, dance lessons to make them well-rounded performers.
1:03 = love of my life
What was the reason for this show?
You couldn't get much cornier if you tried!
Bowed out at David Frost! Really?!
@143AC and even if they ever did anything like this again (HA!) it would be so fake! and sexed up.
i got the 1990 one on vhs, but the quality's bad sorry
David Frost?
Featuring Matt Damon and others? And others??? Matt Damon was the very least of all these stars, and yet you mention only him in your description of this video! So ridiculous it's not even funny.
What is this song's title?
g.co/kgs/VH73v6
and you know they would politicize it too!!! so stupid!~
How dare you not include Mickey Mouse, he is a HUGE legend compared to all of these major stars.
Not a real person.
creepy that Rock Hudson would be dead before the year was out.
