One of the reasons I love traveling is to relax meet new friends and really have nice time 🎉

Some reasons why we rarely go for vacations:
    1. More than 50% of Nigerians live on daily incomes . So any day such people don’t work, they may not eat.
    2. There are so many tourist attractions in Nigeria . However, insecurity is a big factor. Some host community members of such tourist destinations could be very hostile to tourists.
    3. Poverty.
    4. Most of the paid jobs in Naija don’t allow for vacation except in festive times like Christmas. Most organisations only give special leave to those in middle or top mgt levels.
    5. Africans don’t cooperate amongst themselves. If you want to go to SA, Morocco 🇲🇦 or Seychelles from Naija or Ghana, you will be required to get a visa or some travel permits .
    6. We can’t borrow money to travel for vacation as it’s obtainable in the West where credit cards are available. We borrow strictly for investments, medical bills or other expenses.

Thanks for taking the time to write this comment. I look forward to the day when we can overcome these problems and have a decent life for the majority and not just the minority rich Nigerians. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾!

Good conversation. Countries in Africa should be visa free just like in the Western countries.

The hardship and frustration in Nigeria will not make you think of vacation 😆 Just to eat good food first is a luxury right now. We're still far from ready for that kind of lifestyle.

I hear you. I hope things get to the point where this lifestyle is no longer restricted to the minority. Thanks for watching!

Nice video, nice topic of discussion. Make a part 2 where you tell us what tourist sites we can see in Canada like Niagra falls, I dont know if Canada has mountains or maybe we can go skydiving at an affordable rateand so on. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderfull week.I think part of our limited vacation culture maybe due to some of our income levels in general. I know a good number of people who love travelling.

Lots of beautiful mountains in the Canadian Rockies across Alberta and BC. Thanks for the suggestion. I will look at doing that part 2. I wish our income levels would get better so people can get to take time off and see more of their world. Thanks for watching!

Vacations don't need to be so costly. You can go to other African countries too. I wish I had done that. Thanks for watching!
