I always keep coils, sensor, and the wiring harness. Just in case i need anything later or use it as a test parts for other casrs

One Junkyard in my area,they have a bad rap on used engines.They put tags on the used engines saying should be good with no testing done before being pulled out.My dad put in 6 bad engines from them for an Olds Cutlass from them once.Lie about the mileage too.I installed one from them in a customer's vehicle,said it had 13,000 miles on it and did not.Looked like it had 113,000 miles on it and surprised it ran good

I had one customer that bought a used engine and he said it was good. After I put it in it had a knock coming from the lower end. He paid me. Then he took it to some shop and paid them to replace the lifters. Then he asked me why does it still have a knock. LOL. I told the guy it was not the lifters and he didn't believe me.
Eventualy over time that knock will STOP.

Great video,I always pull my own engines now because I used to pay guys at the yard and they would totally fuck up the hoses or plastic intake.Also they would cut the ecm harness with freaking bolt cutters.

We have a bunch of yards where I live. U should have yards there as well. Be sure to get a good unit with low miles and a good warranty at least a year.
yes we have some near by but i just want to know a few that are well known and more trust worthy and that people have had better experience buying them so i get a picture in which ones to start looking at...any suggestions?

Now that's what up! Smart to take the ECU from the original to the replacement motor for you would have to reprogram. Easier to reprogram 4 cylinders Saab then it would for the 6 cylinders. Can do both!!!!

THAT is because they sell all items individually. In the days of old, you bought an engine with everything attached. Now, they want you to pay extra for each item. Sick, but that is the way they do it.
