- My first ever THRIFT STORE MAKEOVERRRR. Basically I just did a thrift flip where I bought a clock and gave it a makeover. If you like painting on things and sculpting on things, especially painting on thrifted items, or just want to see how to fix up thrift store finds- this is the video for you! Alot of you guys love watching thrift store makeovers and recommended I do one so I’m finally getting around to it. I love customizing used items and painting crafts / painting projects, plus I loveee sculpting. I might even turn this into a series, we’ll see lol. Hopefully this can give you some ideas for cool paint projects or things to paint on, maybe even inspire you to do your own furniture makeover!

I had alot, we had turkey, stuffing...all the regular stuff. But we also had scallops, stuffed clams and a pineapple and cheddar cheese casserole (I made my self)

Love the troll. He looks like a love child between a troll from the movie Trolls and a WOW troll. For Thanksgiving my boyfriend and I had a nice chicken dinner with stuffing and mash potatoes because we couldn't see family due to being on lockdown and didn't want to buy a big turkey for just the two of us.
That sounds like a nice dinner, I like chicken better than turkey anyways lol

The bow tie was definitely the way to go.
I absolutely love this one!💜 Honestly it’s something I would buy at an arts & craft fair. Just needs a coat of sealant to keep the paint from fading...matte or shiny.
I keep waiting for you to make some type of stop animation video with the style of the clips between steps of the craft. I really enjoy that video style. Whether it’s done seriously, ironically or humorously.
Love this! It would be cool to thrift a lamp and use sculpting clay to give it a makeover. I always see random lamps in the thrift.

Oh-dear-oh-dear-dear! Such expense! I hereby give you express permission to dumpster-dive, if it's not beneath you! You can always tell us you found the item in a thrift store. Once the pandemic is past us, hopefully your range of local sources will expand as well. (Thrifting tip: you'll often find the best junk to "make over" when you're in the thrift store looking for something you actually need, which of course they WILL NOT HAVE, lol.)
Yeah, hopefully they stock up on some better stuff soon, that would be nice lol

I used to have a pocket watch that I'd carry at my old job because there werent any clocks hanging and we couldnt carry our phones on us. It was pretty dope and it kinda fit with the theme

Also if you're short on money. Idk how pricey clay softener is since I don't buy it, but I use acetone or petroleum jelly on my sculpts to smooth it out. I think mineral oil can also be used.
I'll have to try that once I run out of clay softener, I definitely have plenty of acetone. Thanks!
