    Hello, beautiful and informative video.
    Can you provide the source of that Columbus quote?

    • @SamSinha

      His 1493 letter to the Spanish king.

      @@SamSinha well I have read it but it’s not even close to what you quoted, I’m curious about the exact source you got that quote from because I can’t find it anywhere.

      There are multiple translations though. One, for example: www.gilderlehrman.org/history-resources/spotlight-primary-source/columbus-reports-his-first-voyage-1493

    "Bad hierarchy" of Greece gave you origin of science by which you were able to create this video

    • @SamSinha
      @SamSinha  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Class-hierarchies did indeed make human civilization progress a lot, compared to the initial hunter-gatherer stage(s). Christopher Caudwell explains this pretty well: "It is an advance because it involves a sharpening of consciousness at the pole of the ruling class and a more intensive production of social wealth." (Further studies in a dying culture)

    • @user-cz1mz3pp9n
      @user-cz1mz3pp9n หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SamSinha continuing with:"It is a weakness because it produces a deadening of consciousness at the pole of the ruled class and a cleavage between the conscious enjoyment of the ruling class and the blind action of the ruled class. It makes possible a permanent inequality of status because the ruling class, by virtue of directing the labour of the exploited, can also ensure the flow of the bulk of its products into their own lives, leaving to the exploited the minimum necessary to ensure an efficient existence."
      Like if equality is some divine goal of the universe

    • @SamSinha
      @SamSinha  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, the weakness part is what I talked about here.
      Equality in the Marxist sense doesn't mean the liberal equality of outcome. I have a video on that. You can watch that and increase the engagement of this channel.

      Which socialism are you talking about? People use definitions pretty loosely, so I'm interested to hear which version you're talking about.
