- Last time, you saw Chris from Rekkid Talk drive across a SCARY ASS bridge to visit a blue state, with the hopes of bountiful used rekkids to buy. It didn't work out very well in the first few towns, but I persisted in a northerly direction.
Most of those records needs to be donated to the Goodwill.
My Goodwill is much less patient with records that will never sell.
Looks like a good trip! Those record booths set up like stores tend be a little pricey.
Yeah, these people have a better selection but usually no bargains.
$5 records locked up, wow, some paranoia happening in that shop. I rarely have patience for that. So many fun items Chris to buy and enjoy
Yeah, I couldn't be bothered to get them to unlock the case for the $5 rekkids. I'm guessing I could have stolen the $1 black mold rekkids in the barn part and no one would have cared.
The Barry Manilow records were overpriced. KISS crap! Ha ha.
I like to kid around with the KISS Army.
My favorite song is on that album by the Deele. "Two occasions" is a killer slowjam and group that gave rise to LA and Babyface.
I'll try to find the picture sleeve 7" of "Two Occasions".
Bobby Darrin
some old stereos and players, Dusty 45's
Bobby Darrin ,
I was just saying to myself I bet that those records are scratched!!!
some country music Kenny Rodgers ,
by the 7:47 mark looks good,
nice Ozzy, Lizzy Borden, Doors ,
never heard of the Feelies or that 2nd band I heard of Labomba ,
The Feelies were a cool 80s indie band from New Jersey, and Guadacanal Diary were a jangly Georgia band that didn't become as big as REM.
Did I ever tell you about going into a rekkid store in the 80s and seeing nothing but Frampton Comes Alive? At the front of every bin in the store they had put a used copy of that album. It was overwhelming! I think it was a subtle hint to customers that they didn't ever want to see another copy...EVER.
LOL, I saw an entire bin in a Half Price Books with nothing but Dan Fogelberg records, several copies of all the common ones.
Hi Chris!!! well at least driving across the scary bridge paid the price and finally got a couple of good albums.... bummer to see that Lizzy Borden album was overpriced, that's one you almost never see in one of this places. cheers and be well
Most record dealers know to charge a lot for metal rekkids.
The Good Earth was a good deal. Excellent album! Do you already have Zapped or was it in bad condition? It's worth having if the price isn't outrageous.
I don't specifically remember the Zapped but I did reject several albums for condition.
I have that Warner Brothers book on the shelf at the 3:10 mark! Did you get that Jim Nabors album?😂
Not this time!
if you don't have that peter gabriel album get it,it's a good one!!
I only have So.
Are vinyl coasters playable?
Maybe on your turntable!
Dottie West?
Were there some Dottie West records? Probably.
"Pickers Paradise" also advocates for "back door" friends. I think that tells me everything I need to know. 😆
Still mad they didn't have any records.
Ah. This weeks crate diggings done. Thanks!
Still can't find any Rattus.
@@RekkidTalk You are definitely in wrong place for Rattus. Try tp find some jenka!
Good buy on the Feelies!
I have another Feelies that I bought from @RecordKrate .
