    "You will find the future where ever people are having the most fun."
    Based of Nobel Peace Prize awards given, Islamic countries are much less fun than the countries where Jews live. Yeah, that seems to correlate. Islamic countries better work on creating comedians and fuzzy purple dancing, singing, farting Mohammad dolls.

    I don't disagree with the message. However, building your message on a misleading hypothesis: I whole heatedly disagree with. I know most/ hope all are smart enough to question the speaker. Look at the culture, or imagine yourself in the culture at which the innovation is taking place. All things are based on a need. All things not used must also provide a purpose. The first wind instrument was made from left over byproducts of, as a whole, something useful. With no purpose it was made useful by one through leisure. Innovate if you wish to do the same, but always question what's told to you. Be the person teachers hate. Because if you're smart enough to infuriate through asking intelligent questions. You can make a living making the future.

    As much as I appreciate the
    message of this video, the first computer was the Antikythera computer, dated 205 BC.

    • @MrDiarukia
      @MrDiarukia 7 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      While the Antikythera was capable of processing, it was not programmable. The video names the first programmable computer.

    • @NatureHacker
      @NatureHacker 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that's an arbitrary distinction. someone programmed the first computer so it was programmable, just not reprogrammable.

    • @MrDiarukia
      @MrDiarukia 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      NatureHacker But the video put the emphasis on it being programmable as in "reprogrammable".

    I don't find this very funny. As all of my Resources, have been
    Taken, SC Johnson, who share being of the
    very same Hometown,
    admit in their Book,
    Racine Wisconsin,
    A Unique City, to their
    Communistic, ways,
    Not wanting any, Federal, interference.
    They got mad at me, I wanted Children to write letters to not allow Carcinogenic
    Waste be dumped into our, Lake Michigan! After my Editorial was
    published? I received
    Phone Treats for months. "Who are YOU
    WORKING FOR? WE Know WHERE YOU LIVE..." My Goodness,
    I later received, The Great Lakes Environmental Study,
    thousands of pages.
    I had thought some one who lived where there was no large Lakes, had wanted to
    truck their waste here.
    Who did it turn out WAS Lake Michigan's known, as the Biggest Polluter? To my Total Surprise, It was The
    Johnson Wax Company, and other
    affiliated...Companies..

    This video is really intriguing! However, I noticed a significant error: the map used reflects borders before 1991. It's crucial for accuracy to update such details. Perhaps more research or fact-checking could enhance the quality, especially for platforms like TED

    You don't just mention Babbage and the analytical engine without also including Ada Lovelace. She was in the freaking animation, and you couldn't take a second to say the name?

    • @NatureHacker
      @NatureHacker 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      if it was a dude you wouldn't care

    • @fannyforfun3670
      @fannyforfun3670 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I want credit where credit is due. Yes, she was in the animation but not named. I think Tesla should ger credit for all the things he invented too, and that has gotten better. Credit makes a difference! I don't think it's right that any inventor gets ignored, but it happens more to women than to men. That's a fact. If you don't like my critique, help by changing the reason for it.

    • @shway1
      @shway1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      you could go into more detail for every aspect of this video. the analytical engine was never even built

    • @fannyforfun3670
      @fannyforfun3670 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      They collaborated on the plan for it, and her name takes one second to say.

    • @shway1
      @shway1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chockeela no, as far as I know babbage invented the machine, then years later after translating a paper on his invention from Italian for him she also appended her own notes including a way to calculate Bernoulli numbers using the machine, which is why she is considered to be the first computer programmer.
