    Thanks for the review! I'm looking at a new MT-03 as my first bike and trying to do all the research I can. So far, it's looking like this is the right choice and your approval helped. I appreciate your time!

      You won’t regret it. Yamaha came out with that engine in 2015 and hasn’t changed it since. During that time all the other brands came out with theirs and Yamaha didn’t have to change theirs. That’s how good it is.

      Bro I bought 2021 MT-03 -- 3 weeks ago and I can't even find my words to tell you how much I love this bike it is my first and its perfect!!! Now I'm looking to get different exhaust but I have to say that it's not a must have for me because stock exhaust has really nice sound and I like it.

      I just bought one about 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it! My first bike and it's a ton of fun. No regrets at all!

      I've owned my MT03 for going on two years now as my first bike and I absolutely love it. Tip, she loves to ride at high rpms, around between 7-10k. She redlines around 11-13k. Great little bike. She'll keep up with the big boys on twisties. Just always remember to ride safe, with gear and keep practicing. Like aviation and pilots, a motorcycle rider requires continuous education and training to stay safe and fast (on the track). God bless and Merry Christmas!

    Great review. I currently have the MT-125, and I absolutely love it, I only wish it had a little more power so I'm looking at picking one of these up in the new year.
    I will be using it for commuting (10k-15k miles a year), so I'm tempted to kit it out for touring and get it looking like a mini tracer.

    • @leeridefar
      @leeridefar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a great plan. It is very capable as a mini tourer and with a set a Kenda Big Block tires a mini tracer!

    I like that Coffman exhaust sound. I have been thinking about getting the MT-03 for a while now.

      It’s a cleaner look and not too loud. Solid choice for an exhaust.

    Get an r6 throttle tube. 30 dollar five minute mod changes the character of this bike nicely. This is a blast to ride around

    Thanks Lee, great review, am still between the MT 03 n cb330 r, in the next wek or so I will make my mind as I eventually want to put knobbly tires on either, make either a more dual purpose bike

    Hi buddy, I am thinking of getting one for some time already. But I am worried whether it suits my job as a food delivery rider, about 10 hours of riding average 100 over miles. Is this bike OK for it in terms of durability, of cos needs to sacrifice some comfort. Currently I am riding a 155 auto yamaha aerox scooter

    • @leeridefar
      @leeridefar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hell yes it is! Yamaha and Honda reliability is second to none. You may want a softer seat but give it a try. The MT03, cb300r or z400 would be my choice (in that order) for delivery rider.

  • @superstarsfastcars
    @superstarsfastcars 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It is a very nice bike for the money! I also have a Ducati 848 but this bike is more fun to me believe it or not. Especially for city driving! What do you think about the rear pillion seat cover mod? I am thinking about removing the rear foot set and getting that cover for a more sporty aggressive look. I don’t ride passenger anyway 😆. But Yamaha is charging an arm and a leg for the OEM color match item. 😖. Take a look at my videos and tell me what you think? 😉. Oh and FYI - R6 throttle tube upgrade is a must!

    • @leeridefar
      @leeridefar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The oem accessories are spendy. It is nice to get something that matches perfectly. However, just riding it is good enough! Spend that money on a track day. Smaller bikes are great fun on the track.

    • @leeridefar
      @leeridefar  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What does the R6 throttle tube do?

    • @superstarsfastcars
      @superstarsfastcars 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@leeridefar it takes out that delay in the throttle response. And you do not have to twist your wrist so far back to reach full throttle. Makes the bike much more responsive and better for highway driving.

    Headlights are small, are they bright at night? Are they LED? Do they have to be LED? I do like the back brake lights. Muffler sounds great. Sounds low and mean.

    • @leeridefar

      I never rode it at night but the center headlight is bright. It’s the same sort of focused lens that a lot of bikes (and cars) use. Very bright.

    • @leeridefar

      And where would you need to go 110mph? Even in the race track, you spend most your time under 100mph. As long as the performance is good between 0-80mph, you’ve got a great motorcycle.
