We usually receive gifts on diwali as we go to our relative and friend's places.. Mainly kids... So that guy gave firecrackers for the kiddos and the real firecracker (alcohol) to the elder

The guns are loaded with rolled up firecrackers which burst when you pull the trigger. Top it up with little bombs and you got yourself your own live action first person shooter😂. Obviously for kids.

Combine different bombs and try to get the loudest bang possible.
And last year, we didn't tie it properly, so it looked like the big bomb was not bursting, but we were scared, so tried throwing rocks at it and nothing happened. But as soon as we went near it, it exploded with a massive sound, we ran so fast lol.

The environmental angle is a little mixed considering the smoke and noise levels in urban areas...things can get a little too much in congested residential areas. Our whole house was filled with smoke from outside and my asthmatic gran and sister were watery eyed and wheezing for a few hours lol good luck to anyone who has more serious issues
I live in Delhi, and it's honestly a gas chamber. I can't imagine what it does to ppl with lung problems.

Protecting the environment is always a very important thing to do but the video addresses those kinds of people who do it for the sake of sounding 'cool' and 'fashioned' while taking away other people's right to celebrate.

We play with guns which have rolled up firecrackers during Diwali pretending to be Hrithik Roshan or Rajinikanth or any action movie star, that's the first joke.

The point that u were making with ur camera on a car top, I don't think that's the same as this. Bcoz of the population of this country the bursting of crackers is significantly high and it does affects animals and elderly around bcoz of the noise and generally the whole public bcoz of the air pollution. There are some who just doesn't want people to have fun at all but there are others as well that actually care about the environment and the effects of crackers on environment has drastically gone up. We have alternatives for bursting crackers. We use diyas to light our house. Go to temple, to our relatives, have sweets, draw Rangoli at the entrance of our houses and much more. Crackers are not necessarily needed for Diwali. It's an added bonus which has become more and more dangerous every year. We can have fun on our festivals in many more ways. Have a safe and a happy Diwali to everyone.
As a kid I would burst "tickdis"(role you're supposed to put inside the gun) with hand on floor (friction). For me guns weren't fun. Anyone else.
Crackers are actually bad for the pets, the birds and everything. So, whatever he said was true. Pets go through a lot during Diwali.

Diwali has commonly known many reasons to celebrate - Ram's return to Ayodhya after killing Ravan, etc............
there is a simple scientific explanation......... At the time of Diwali, the season changes from type of monsoon to winter..........
whenever there is a climate change, bacteria, virus, germs, etc grow in numbers...........
the main ingredient in diwali crackers is "Sulphur" which actually is used to kill them............
but to make people do these kind of things (burning sulphur) is not generally possible.............

Diwali is the worst festival of the year... I hate it so much, you can't breath without feeling choked. We also had a fire incident once with a rocket getting stuck to our window and my mother was inside the house, it was so scary! My friend has a pet dog who is really scared of fire crackers, I really feel for him :( If it's hard for me I can't imagine how much harder it is for a dog. Honestly you wouldnt like it here during diwali- it's the worst.
