Did You Know In Jurassic Park …

- According to an interview with Joseph Mazzello, who played Tim Murphy, there were some really terrifying moments for the actors. During one of the most iconic scenes in the 1993 classic, where the T-Rex escapes his paddock and attacks the car which has Tim and Lex in, there was apparently a malfunction with the T-Rex that led to its head going down further than intended, and subsequently chipping the plexiglass and breaking a tooth. Steven Spielberg kept the screams of the kids in the final cut due to how realistic they were, well given that they were real screams and not acting!

Those real screams of the kids, did it help them become better?
Yep
Mhm
I'm sure it helped them get into a terrified character better. Or, they're scarred for life
Yea ofc
Him: "his paddock"
Jurassic park fans: " we would like to speak to you"
Chipped the glass was a bit of an understatement
After that, Joseph Mazello never scream again and not talk too much. That's why he became John Deacon...
Yea it was not supposed to bust through like that
That was the first movie I saw in the cinema, And boy it was the best experience of my life then. I was just 6 or 7 years Old and I was scared to death specially during the T-Rez escaping scene and during the scene when Raptors were attacking the kids near the Climax.
Wao !!! Good old childhood memories.
I am big fan of Steven Spielberg since then.
Yea it was definitely a “malfunction.”
It was raining and the rain was messing with the animatronic. So yeah. It was.
No, I think the T-rex just wanna messed with those kida
In the film, the trex is female.
I think you meant "her" paddock.
Yeah I also got triggered lol
They gotta be thankful, it's not kubrick. He would've straight up make them feel miserable
Lol if Kubrick directed Jurassic Park, he would've had the animatronic ACTUALLY eat the kids for authenticity.
Stanley Kubrick would’ve asked for another take
@@mr.metamovies2419 USE IT!!! USE IT!!!
@@mr.metamovies2419 the bite of 93!!
Watched this as a kid and it blew my mind. Then reading it again and again is just even better.
If it was Tarentino he would have had the T-Rex tie them to a chair before dancing around them to a Jerry Rafferty song.🦖🎶🎸🎷
The chipping of the tooth continued for the T. rex in the Jurassic world movies
Speilberg also sent a camera crew out into Hurricane Iniki when it blew through Hawaii when they were making the movie.
Wow i feel bad for them
Something like this also happened similarly when Spielberg was making Jaws.
Chrissie's actress Susan Backlinie was not told about what would happen when she would step in the water, and when she began to be dragged underwater by the stunt men, her screams of "Oh God help!" were actually real and was not acted.
T-Rex: *malfunctions*
Also T-Rex: Ok am hungry even tho I malfunction. IMMA EAT *digs head in further*
(Please just know this is a JOKE)
real screams?! hell ya!
Another fun fact About the T- Rex: it weighed 1200 pounds and was extremely powerful. If you stood next to the T- Rex and its head went by you at speed it'd feel like a bus rushing past you. There's why the crew had safety meetings and it was always announced with flashing lights so everyone remembered to keep a safe distance
Which is probably why they screamed so hard. They probably both thought they were going to get crushed.
If only I could make a living reading from IMDB
I was 92 when I saw this in theaters
Wow Eugene from pacific is that little kid 😂 wow how bizarre, great actor none the less.
These TH-cam shorts should just be called “Did you know?”
The trex in Jurassic park is canonically female all the dinosaurs on nublar are female
Everything is done on purpose secretly in order to give an extra realism…
That kid will become Eugene Sledge
Because it lost a tooth In that scene in every jurassic world movie it has a missing tooth
I don’t believe this. The kids were played by stunt doubles with the plexiglass scene, the screams were added in post production
“ her “ paddock not his
Yes..we knew about this
Wouldn't that be so amazing to control one of those giant anamotronic beasts and have it terrorize a whole town maybe even get the cops to shoot at it
YESSS, SCREAM CHILDREN
I SUBSIST ON YOUR FEAR
*her. It was a female, they went over this
Sub-SEE-quently😂
How many of you guys read these books first because in the first book everybody dies except for the doctor and the two kids
But when I thought it was cool, I thought it was real
I bet that wasnt a "malfunction"
Her paddock* also sorry for being that guy
His paddock ?!1!1 she’s a female bru
Rex is The Latin Word for King
Last time I heard rexy was is female
Her not his
The t-rex is a girl
Well steven already kill child in twilight zone movie
No he didnt assclown
This is why I hate animatronics
Rexy is a female
🤣🤣🤣👍
Don't believe it. These fun facts can exaggerate at will
Cap. Its cgi
Are you a voice actor
To me it sounds like detective void
@@Himiko_n_Uraraka_now_1 that's what I'm thinking
I think the guy who makes the videos is different than the guy who voices them. It's a common trend I'm seeing with channels. For example infographics and Leaf Media.
@@snigdhasingh5682 that's why I sead ''voice actor''
Seems fake
Sub what now?
Subseekwuntlee
Don't care... f the actors make it real
