Suleiman didn't seem to like Ibrahim writing off his comment about Mehmet being his heir for Mustafa. Truth is that of the two, Mustafa and mahidevran were the easier for him to control. Ibrahim never had a chance to control hurrem, even when it seems he has the chance, she always finds a way to twist it to her favour.

I don’t understand how and why Valide sultan is shocked to see Suleiman angry at her trying to marry Hurrem off, after all she played tricks behind his back while he was trying to elevate their nation, risking his life. Before being angry because he almost lost his woman, he rightfully is angry at her by challenging his authority and doing whatever she wanted with his favorite… I mean what did she expect ? she always do that and then she is surprised when he is angry at her…

Still think hurrem could’ve benefited from making ibrahim an ally from the start, instead of an enemy. Sure it’s nit gonna be easy but I never understood the jealousy aspect of it. Her relationship with hatice and Ibrahim could’ve been great :(

I think only Mahidevran could ever befriend Ibrahim, the show suggests close ties from the start. Even looking at gulfem and Ibrahim it shows their interaction is for hatice and her supporting the pursuit of love. Ibrahim had showed no relationship with gulfem beyond being the middle man for hatice. Not sure if it's because she no longer had a son but I get the feeling it's because she wouldn't be easy to manipulate either. I always wondered if Mustafa was really Suleiman son or Ibrahim

Many mistakes done by the screenwrites. They have portrayed Suleiman like a low class pervert that has never seen women before, while in reality he was a super wise, high intellectual, very picky, high moral man, who stayed loyal forever to his relationship. Hurrem is portrayed at some moments like a schizofrenic, while she was a super smart super fine woman, not only in a fantastic love relation to Suleiman, but also his POlitical advisor. There are these cheap behaviours that only very low low intelect/education/moral people do, while we are dealing with one of the most important dynasties in the world here. They were not a bunch of uneducated psycho perverts screaming 24/7 and sleeping with everyone everywhere. The writers add filth where there is not, while there is enough filth without this ugly stuff. And some very insulting situations done to Hurrem, some terrible words said, or Suleiman saying "if mom calls must be important hahaah", a lot of low class mockery putting the viewer in a very discomfortable position. Some dignity please. Otherwise everything else is great. Ah, and the storyline is allllllllllllllllllll fake. Hurrem lived like a true queen undisturbed and no one dared do these things and Suleiman loved her truly, not like this childish game that is a toxic relationship. all the murders here are fictional.

There is another issue about "Cem Sultan". After Sultan II. Bayezid (father of Suleyman) became king, Cem Sultan ran to the enemies as a refuge to save his life. As a tradition in Ottoman Empire, women are called with their first name and then with the title Sultan like Hatice Sultan, Hurrem Sultan, etc.. However, men are called with the title Sultan before their first name such as Sultan Suleyman, Sultan Mehmet. Only Cem Sultan is called Cem Sultan because of his act.

In the Ottoman game of thrones, no one in the royal family is safe, ever. Maria choose to go as she forced it asking Sumbul to help her. Hurem char is maybe childish but is that give someone a reason to kill? Read again what u write and watch again all 6 episodes. Making someone to feel like noting telling u r slave dont worth and cover all crimes that was done to Hurrem only shows their true nature.

But in this era she is actually a child...a teenager who manages to escape from her murderers since the beginning of the story Hürrem is already suffering from her country,to the ship and even after she arrived at the Harem she is still suffering...she has never ending suffering and we can't blame her for acting like that
The only wrong in here is that she forget where she came from...sye started picking a fight with everyone and shouting to them when they cant get what she want to the point that even her best friend Maria/Gülnihal was hurt by her 😪
Her suffering made her quite evil and doesn't turn her guard down

Hürrem was 15.. How do you think a 15 year old that has watched her family die, was sold as a slave, has been threatened, offered to an older man as a virgin to create babies, beaten, allmost send away as a bride, poisoned while pregnant, and now they took her child..
      She was 15..

Mustafa is so out of line. I know probably because of his unstable mother but you see it all throughout the series thus far. Nobody reprimands him, same like with his mother. Everybody comtinuously throughs a blind eye,no wonder she gets worse in her ways and the boy is just startinf off.

I’m sure the real Hürrem wasn’t quite such a drama. I’m pretty sure a lot of this arrogance and drama is the producers wanting to give the story a healthy dose of spice. It’s a shame, because at times it’s difficult to like Hürrem - who was such an important and brave woman of the time, who did things no woman had done before in that culture.
She doesn’t deserve to be written as some brattish, boorish girl

There is no betrayal in this matter, as far as they are both the property of the Sultan. Then it's only Gulnihal's turn. Nothing more even if she craves for what Hurrem had.
Besides, Hurrem with her lousy and disrespectful attitude is more silly than anybody else in this drama. She not only perform her duty, she used her mouth to offend others and poison the gentle souls whose heart are as still as an undisturbed water till she messed things up

I got poisoned! No, it was bad cream. - well Valide sultana is gaslighting Hurrem, just as Mahidevran was gaslighting Gulsah the previous episode- I did it for you sultana- no, you wanted it.- and she gaslighted Ibrahim as well- you poisoned the food on sultanțs table-. No, he is already poisoned by hurrem. So typical! never assume responsibility- always blame the others so Mahidevran and Valide sultan, as characters portrayed in this series are just 2 narcissists. and you know the thing with the narcissists- they NEVER change. They consider themselves to be too perfect. Valide never agreed with her own son, Suleyman that HUrrem is his love and she should respect his choice- her blind choice was Mahidevran who always likes to lick her behind but declares herself Valide at first opportunity.
Say what you want about HUrrem, she always put the love for Suleyman first, when she had the opportunity to put one of her children on the throne, she refused because of her loyalty and love for Suleyman- unlike Mahidevran who was always concerned about herself and her son- she also acted behind his back killing Mehmet- Hurrem s first born, declared herself Valide before Suleyman died....That is why HUrrem is far better than Mahidevran and Valide combined.

Sad for Lala. If he didn't say anything. Suleyman wouldn't have let him go. I can see Sumbul looking at Gulnihal with a sad expression. He likes her. He wishes the same for her. Can't mess with a hormonal pregnant woman. They are more jealous. Hurrem is nice as long as no other woman competes for the Sultan.

No wonder how she became the Haseki.... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Why are they still referring to Hureem as "Hatun" and not "Sultan"? She gave birth to a son, didn't she? She is at the same level as Mahidevran. Am I missing something? All that gutteral screaming while having the baby! A difficult birth, right....early, not breech. Looked like a regular labor but such a attention seeking fuss. I do like the character Hurrem and the actress who played her but this scene was almost annoying. Apparently, Hurrem was pisssd off that her friend /servant wasn't at her beck and call like normal so she had to have a temper tantrum and make a fuss.
