In today’s episode, you will learn how to make an iot based water level monitoring system using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, Nodemcu esp8266 wifi module, and Blynk application. this project is based on two-way communication, you can monitor the Water level in realtime and you can also control the water pump. The lamp indicator represents the water pump… This is the 2nd version of the water level monitoring system. While in version 1 of the water level monitoring system I used only the leds to show the percentage of water available in the Water tank. As today’s episode is based on the version 1, so I highly recommend you should watch my previous tutorial on the water level monitoring system using led’s, because in this episode I will only explain the modifications.

This is a very interesting project for which I now have all the components.

I dont have uno board can i connect the power pins of the sensor to a dc battery and the digital pins to the nodemcu

brother very nice video i was searching from so many days
but i am having some problem with leds
i sent to email about the problem
writing here as well
when i used you part 1st code in which wifi not included the leds work fine setp by step on and off
but when i used part 2nd code with wifi the leds not working fine
they filickers when they are at low level
when water incresed the related led stop flickers and glow
but others don't stop flickering

Sir I am doing same project but used firebase instead of blynk .My problem is that the values aren't getting uploaded to firebase I even included the library

you can do the same exact thing using only the nodemcu module. but the reason i also used Arduino is that, if incase you want more io pins. You can watch my latest iot water level sensor project, which is developed using only nodemcu esp8266.

don't select Arduino. select the nodemcu board.

Yes you can but this program wont work. You will have to write a new program.

Please make a iot based water level indicator in which ultrasonic sensor is not used.
Because HC SR 04 gets damaged due to moisture and waterproof ultrasonic sensor is very expensive. Sir please make one more project just like this.... Without ultrasonic sensor

Sir i was saying that build a blynk automated water level indicator which which shows water level using leds and also displays water level on our phone. We can also use phone to switch on /off the water pump and most important it uses only wires which are dipped at different water levels of water. Just like for 20% , 40% , 60% , 80%,100% using 5 wires which are dipped in water.
