Had he built a half decent deck, spirits would have swiped Ruxins deck, but no, lets build an awful deck and keep whining all the way through about getting the short end of the stick. This could have been one of the most enjoyable match-ups, but this guy had to ruin it with his never-ending whining. Can't believe I saw the whole episode. raging and crying the whole vid while making tons of mistakes, thats easy the worst guest i have ever seen in a vid, just cringe this guy, pls never invite him again, first vid of the series i cant enjoy
Yes but that does not help a spirit deck. Skill drain in a situation like this would be for a beatdown deck. Everyone knows that spirits have god awful stats.
@Delimon007 I get that, but being able too keep a body on board for more than one turn is very helpful, then MST skill drain away or jus use it too turn the tributes mainly dusk spirit into beaters that stick around
@@hawksmall So let me get this straight. You're going to skill drain your low stat cards to keep them on the board when they are mostly used for their summoning effects for the most part. And you have to has MST in hand or a dust already set, which you are going to use on your skill drain putting you down several cards over your opponent just to keep these cards on the field? In what world would this be a sound strategy? It would also only be a one of so it wouldn't even be remotely consistent either.
The amount of people that think they know better, suggesting garbage cards in this comment section to use is honestly insane. Spirits is practically if not THE worst card archetype at this point. They are SO bad that you can't even use the vast majority of them in an actual coherent deck. So using "only spirits" is one of the most dog s*** decks you could EVER use. There is no "fixing" how trash that deck would be no matter what cards you put in it. Most spirits have garbage stats so against the average deck they would get demolished to begin with. They can't stay on the field making the matter even worse. Topping off the fact that most of their effects are beyond dog water too. The only good, still legal, spirit monster is the one that allows you to destroy all monsters on the field when summoned, except you can't use that card because you need tribute fodder. If I have any issues with the deck, it's that it's not using ultimate offering and I believe as long as it is a staple to how the deck functions he can use 3 of them. This deck 100% needs ultimate offering to make the most of his spirit monsters. Other than that, pretty much any other card has drawbacks that aren't worth using.
Actually, you're wrong as you didn't factor in Ruxins deck. Im not saying you could build an op spirit deck in this format, that is highly unlikely we agree about that. Thing is Ruxins deck was pretty trash as well and had the other guy made smarter decisions when building his deck instead of crying about it he could have overpowered him easily. Even if these is not much support for spirits until this point he could at least have integrated some strategy into his deck other than equip spells that only work well with one monster and only for one round. There is not such a thing as not being able to build a half-decent deck at least, no matter the archetype.
@@ELXHON You don't know what deck you are going to face mate. The cards you people have been recommending are also anti-support cards for spirit cards, aka, they are actual counters to the deck he is using. A 5 second google search would show you that. It's literally not rocket science.

That's probably the worst deck building decisions I've ever seen from someone claiming to be a master dueler. Also, Ruxin keep up the good work man, you're doing great!
Worst deck I've ever seen lol 😅
wow
raging and crying the whole vid while making tons of mistakes, thats easy the worst guest i have ever seen in a vid, just cringe this guy, pls never invite him again, first vid of the series i cant enjoy
could have used the fusion monster to win with fairy in the second game . At 34 min
Only thousand eyes can attack
Thousand-Eyes Restrict prevents all other monsters from attacking.
Was skill drain legal this format?
Yes but that does not help a spirit deck. Skill drain in a situation like this would be for a beatdown deck. Everyone knows that spirits have god awful stats.
@Delimon007 I get that, but being able too keep a body on board for more than one turn is very helpful, then MST skill drain away or jus use it too turn the tributes mainly dusk spirit into beaters that stick around
@@hawksmall
So let me get this straight.
@Delimon007 calm down yeah it was only a suggestion, why you so bent out of shape?
@@hawksmall
Dude I'm pretty calm I am just talking to you.

You don't know what deck you are going to face mate. The cards you people have been recommending are also anti-support cards for spirit cards, aka, they are actual counters to the deck he is using. A 5 second google search would show you that. It's literally not rocket science.
@@Delimon007 There is no ‘we’ I did not suggest any cards. And I was specifically talking about this matchup. He was lucky that his opponent had a terrible deck as well otherwise he probably wouldn’t be able to make it into the 3rd round. I’m not saying that spirits are good, just that his general deck building skills are non-existent that’s all. Also that wouldn’t even be an issue had he not been whining all the way to the last second. Sometimes you just gotta take the L and be a man about it.
@@ELXHON
Okay then, what cards would you recommend for him to use?
